« Lovely location for our trip for the Cheltenham festival. Dinner on Tuesday was stunning. Excellent setting. Rooms equipped very well for what they are required for. Would recommend as a great stop for a few days in the Cotswold area »

« Ive said it before and i will say it again and again the pear tree in is a true lttle gem. It was our third visit and it was just as lovely, we stayed in the moon glow accommodation which was fab as usual, i cannot recommend this place enough, lovely setting, lovely cosy bar area lively food and lovely staff. We will keep going back - thank you for a great break away »

« We have lodged at numerous hotels in the area. The Ragged Cot beats them all…Excellent staff, excellent location, excellent food.(especially the free breakfast).Excellent value. Nice warm room. Safe free parking. Good free WiFi. The restaurant menu is excellent. However, I would recommend that the management consider adding a “lighter bites” menu…The portions on the main menu are large! Well done to all the staff. »

« The bedrooms have good facilities which adds to comfort, ie comfortable bed, Roberts radio, iron and ironing board, cafetière for your coffee as well as choice of teas. Large bathroom with good shower which was powerful and hot. We had dinner at the hotel and even though the food was okay, the service was slow. The staff were very apologetic but there were large parties in for dining and there are not enough waiting staff to cope. »

« Nice pub with rooms, they are on the side of the pubs outside area so can be noisy. The rooms are a bit basic no draws or cupboards if you wanted to unpack during a longer stay. Very tight bathroom with the toilet close to the bath/shower and the sink to big and close to the toilet. We stayed two nights and the bed was made and the room tidied but the tea tray was not refreshed. Good service from the staff. A little overpriced for the bed & breakfast rate. »

« A Hidden Gem of a Hotel. Staff Are All very Friendly and made us Feel very Welcome. Food is First Class. Grounds are very well Manicured. Excellent base for Visiting Bristol, but you will need a Car as Hotel is off the Beaten track. »

« Hotel avec beaucoup de charme et d histoire, bien placé pour profiter de la région. Un bémol pour la propreté de la chambre car ménage journalier mal fait. Des efforts à faire au niveau service car accueil peu chaleureux. Au niveau du restaurant carte moyenne et un peu chère pour la qualité servie. »

« I love this place. I have been here many times. The rooms are lovely. Very tastefully decorated and comfortable. I only wish they would serve breakfast at a business-person’s time. At 0800 it is crazy late for a work day. »

« The Ormond was ideal for our overnight stay in Tetbury.We enjoyed a drink and socialising with the locals in the bar,which had a good vibe about it.Our ground floor room was smartly furnishedand plenty big enough.The queen size double bed was very comfortable and the en-suite shower/toilet was well decorated, clean and provided plenty of powerful hot water both in the evening and morning.Our full english and vegetarian breakfast choices were well presented and ample in size.We enjoyed our stay...

« My wife & I stayed on Sat 27thApril to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary, we have stayed before & had a wonderful time. Nat gave us a nice bottle of fizz & a note wishing us a happy anniversary. Rob was also wonderful behind the bar & eveeyone looked after us so well. Matt is a genius in the kitchen & fed us some amazing food. It is our favourite place to stay & we will be comi g back again & again. »

« Séjour pour une étape de randonnée sur les sentiers de la Thamise. Très bon hôtel avec un excellent pub et restaurant, très bien situé dans Cirencester. Notre chambre était située au dessus du pub et il y avait trop de bruits malheureusement même un soir de semaine jusqu'à très tard. Pas très reposant au final... Mais très bonnes prestations par ailleurs. »

« Booked at last minute due to being let down by a previous property which had gone into liquidation. Lovely welcome, room small but full of character, breakfast and evening meals for two days very nice and good value. Would definitely return »

« Endroit plus sympathique qu un hôtel car il y a le pub juste en dessous et il n y a pas de réelle réception. L enregistrement se fait au bar. Endroit superbe. Parking gratuit à proximité,mais attente très longue du petit déjeuner qui est pour le coup inclus. »

« Overpriced for what you get - tiny bedroom and ceilings in the basement flats very low. Bathroom was good with good water pressure. Couldn't get internet and no-one to ask over the weekend as reception closed. »
