« This is a fantastic property. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Although close to the main road (and easy access to local amenities, walks and beautiful beaches), it is quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is very well stocked and we enjoyed having the pool/ping pong table in the lounge. Would love to return for another stay. »

« Great spot for exploring Galloway. Hot tub overlooking the forest, and walks starting straight from the cabin. Wildlife all around. Note that it is attached to another cabin & a farm, so it's not isolated - but we did feel like we had privacy. Otherwise a washing machine could be a good addition. Dave & Becky were very helpful, we'd definitely come back! »

« This was a great break in a gorgeous property. Everything was as described, including the facilities and location / proximity to the beach. I had no concerns about the dogs in the garden with the high and fully secure fence and all rooms were spacious to accommodate us. This was our third stay in Southerness and most certainly the best property we have stayed in. We will be back. »

« The most beautiful and most unique property to explore this part of the country. Margaret and Malcolm, as always, were so welcoming and provide top class accommodation with the most stunning views. Tiffy, our dog, was made most welcome with a lovely bed and treat bag. Such a safe and protected space for her. Will definitely be back for our third visit! »

« We stayed 6 Nights and found a cottage with very modern furniture, all you Need in the kitchen, own BBQ Grill Outside including Picnic Area. Allthough Its in the countryside, with a lot of nature around (trees, River, sheep, Cattle, birds and Flowers- you have a stabile wifi Connection. So What ever you seek- you are able to totally relax and disconnect or connect via the net. The Host family is Nice and live also on the ground in case you Need anything. Galloway Forest Park is nearby with walks...

« A brilliant experience for a Birthday weekend, a home from home without teenagers. We were very well looked after from arrival, above and beyond. The accommodation was quiet, cosy but with lots of space to use. A perfect getaway. We will definitely book in again soon. Ian & Trudi »

« There were issues with obtaining the checkin details in a timely manner. Property only superficially clean set in a not very pleasant location with an appalling access road. The boiler was extremely smelly and there were no instructions for the heating. Towels were totally inadequate in this day and age. »

« Exactly as described. Couldn't get wifi code link wouldnt open and telephone number not recognised. We did get it after emailing.next day Maybe leave written instruction in the caravan for heating and wifi . Great selection of games and activity box for children as well as good selection of books Kitchen fully equipped with all things you could need . Good shower too. Everything seems to have been thought of and provided for a good stay.. We enjoyed our stay. »

« Lovely clean caravan on a quiet very well kept site. Lots to see and do around the area, we had a fantastic 3 night stay. Lounge area spacious and double bed very comfy. Only thing I would say is that the twin beds are small my teenagers were too big to get comfy, would be OK for younger children. »
