« We rented this house for my husband’s birthday and had a group of friends join us for the weekend. The location was perfect for hiking Old Rag as you could walk to the trailhead from the house, and the house itself was great for a group, we had plenty of space to spread out, both inside and outdoors. We especially loved the outdoor areas for hanging out after the long hike. It didn’t hurt that the surrounding area was beautiful to look at. « We enjoyed our stay at this property and it was clean, well equipped with all the modern conveniences, and provided a nice alternative to a hotel. It was a good fit for us with our small dog and was a short drive to the places we wanted to visit. We were there for a long weekend and it is along a busy street so the only drawback was the traffic noise during the day. »

« My husband and I loved clouds cabin. It was even more beautiful in person than it was in the pictures. The views from the deck are amazing, and it’s very quiet, peaceful, and comfortable. The waterfall hike is not on a public trail, so you even have that all to yourself. The cabin was spotlessly clean, and I had to do some schoolwork while we were there but the internet connection was great. « Great location to explore the Shenandoah National Forest and Shenandoah Valley for spring break. The size of the house was perfect for our two families. The kids loved their room with twin beds and many games and toys. There was a seat for the baby and a pack and play, as well.Everyone enjoyed having breakfast on the back deck. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed to cook and enjoy meals but we were close enough to Luray to go out for any meals we wanted. It was also nice having toiletries...

« Very cute, Loved the porch for morning coffee. Wish there had been a second bathroom upstairs. At my age, it’s at least a couple trips down the stairs at night. Disappointing that there was no cable or whatever and internet was very slow so couldn’t really use the TV. But maybe it was just us. Didn’t really miss it that much. Would definitely stay again. During the remainder of our trip we kept saying how we miss the porch! »
