Die gerĂ€umige Villa liegt inmitten einer HĂŒgellandschaft auf 1.6ha Land & blickt nach SĂŒdwesten ins Tal, das mit Johannisbrot- & OlivenbĂ€umen bewachsen ist & im FrĂŒhling mit wilden Blumen bedeckt ist. Der ruhige Ort ist nur 7km von einigen der schönsten StrĂ€nde der Algarve entfernt & nahe der schönen StĂ€dte Castro Marim (5km) & Vila Real (7km). Nach Spanien sind es 10 Fahrtminuten, nach Sevilla 90. Nah liegt der prachtvolle Fluss Guadiana mit seinem Tal & im Norden finden Sie die Dörfer, Weinfelder & Korkeichen des Alentejo. Monte Gordo samt Nachtleben & einem Kasino befindet sich an der nahen KĂŒste. Die Villa liegt ideal fĂŒr Entdeckungstouren. Oder faulenzen Sie lieber am solargeheizten Pool oder auf der schattigen Veranda, wo der Haupt-Grill steht & genießen die Sicht der verschiedenen Terrassen. Sie sind von offenem Land umgeben & unser Nachbar bearbeitet sein Land noch immer mit Esel & Pflug. Die SalzsĂŒmpfe um Castro Marim sind beliebt bei Vogelbeobachtungen. 2 GolfplĂ€tze in 8km.

Golf: Die nÀchsten GolfplÀtze, nach Preis geordnet, sind Castro Marim, (5 km), mit 27 Löchern, Quinta do Vale, von Seve Ballasteros entworfen (7 km) und Monte Rei von Jack Nicklaus gestaltet (8 km). Andere, 30 Minuten Fahrt entfernte PlÀtze sind z.B. Quinta da Ria, Quinta da Cima und Benamor. Es gibt noch einige mehr hinter der spanischen Grenze.

Very nice villa and pool

Quiet surroundings and no other tourists. Nice settings very good pool, but hot very hot weather. Comfortable house. After sunset lots of mosquitos so the warm nights had to be enjoyed inside - a bit dissappointing.

Beautiful villa in countryside location

Our 3rd stay which says it all really. Lovely villa in peaceful location without being remote. Pity abouf the weather for this trip but the games room came in very handy. Well equipped with quality items. Not the normal rental basic equipment. Hope to repeat next year !

Wonderful property

We had a brilliant two weeks in this villa. Everything worked really well. The solar heated pool was incredible and we could enjoy it for hours on end as it was so warm. The large games room was fabulous for the kids. We enjoyed all the various terraces and outdoor spaces and the property has been designed really well to ensure there is always opportunity to sunbathe or enjoy the cooler shade. The property agent (Luis) was helpful too. The local beaches are just stunning with gorgeous soft sand. And the local supermarkets stock all you need. I highly recommend this villa.

Wonderful stay at Quinta da Lavanda

Quinta da Lavanda is a well preserved, comfortable and well equipped villa near Castro Marim and its beaches. We enjoyed particularly the terrace with the view, where we had our daily breakfast and lunches. Table tennis and foosball were a plus and we used it intensively during our stay :-) Last but not the least, there is a heated pool we couldn't resist to use even during the hot evenings! We hope to return again to Quinta da Lavanda next time we go to Castro Marim.

Beautiful location, super quiet

We wanted somewhere quiet with a large pool - this met the brief perfectly. We had a few minor issues which were resolved quickly and efficiently by Luis, who is brilliant. Rooms were comfortable, and aircon everywhere made for a very pleasant stay.

Solitude

A beautiful villa not too difficult to find initially but once you arrive all your cares disappear. A lovely pool nice clean and warm (although it could do with a pool cover to keep the heat in overnight) A games room below with table tennis, pool table, tv and kitchen wonderful idea with access directly out to the pool. A home in the countryside for a peaceful time and not too far from the beach (15/20 mins) with plenty of supermarkets along the way if you want something on your return from a day on the beach much better than I first envisaged Good shaded areas out of the sun or breeze if required Many thanks for a memorable stay. Please give thanks to Luis for meeting us after a late arrival following an airport delay he was most helpful and always available should we have required his services.

Excellent location and property

House is as described. The pictures do not do it justice. The rooms appear dark and make the furniture seem old. In reality, the rooms are very bright and the furniture is of very good quality. Unlike other villas, no expense was spared when buying settees that are not saggy and extremely clean. The kitchen appliances are also of good quality, mainly Bosch, and there is enough cutlery and crockery for a battalion. There is a second fridge / freezer in the games room and a second cooker, that we did not use. The pool is fantastic. We used it at the beginning of the season when the temperatures dipped at night and it was still quite warm. The views are stunning. Some people moaned about dogs. We could only hear them at around 7pm for no more than 5 minutes. We were far more impressed by the calling of partridges that we could spot around. Good quality bedsheets and towels, bed was a little soft but this is not a criticism, just a matter of preference. Although there were only 2 of us, lots of towels were provided and ALL bathrooms and bedrooms were ready for guests. There were lots of pans and pots, the barbecue was close to the pool. Luis, the property manager is a very nice man. Nothing is too much for him. He sorts out everything and he is a fountain of knowledge. He would come whenever needed and he will check that everything is in order, that customers are happy and do not need anything. The welcome pack was also a nice gesture. Will definitely come back.

Wonderful holiday

We have had a wonderful and peaceful holiday. The villa is very comfortable and homely. The pool is great as is all the various outside sitting areas so you can find either sun or shade while taking in the lovely views.

AdorĂĄmos a casa, a piscina e a localização. Muito limpa, com ar condionado novo em todas as divisĂ”es e todas as infraestruturas sĂŁo de muita qualidade. No entanto o check-in nĂŁo correu muito bem com o Sr. Luis que se mostrou pouco simpĂĄtico e empĂĄtico. A casa nĂŁo tem ĂĄgua potĂĄvel, Ă© do poço, e tem fossa. ConclusĂŁo: AdorĂĄmos a estadia. O proprietĂĄrio foi excecional connosco, mas achĂĄmos que o anĂșncio deveria informar que ainda nĂŁo tĂȘm ĂĄgua potĂĄvel :-) VĂŁo ter em breve :-) Obrigada Mr. Richard.

It was a wonderful week

This is a lovely villa with amazing views and in a very quiet area. We are three generations who spent a wonderful week here. The villa is extremely well equipped and everything was as described. Luis met us on arrival and showed us round and was very helpful. It was very hot during our stay and, apart from a couple of trips to the beach, we were all happy to spend most of our time round the pool. We also went to a festival at Castro Marim one evening which everyone enjoyed. We would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet break.

Villaagréable et bien équipée

Nous avons passĂ© un trĂšs bon sĂ©jour dans cette villa spacieuse, trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e et situĂ©e dans un endroit trĂšs calme. Le seul bĂ©mol (mais pour lequel personne ne peut rien) ce sont les nombreux moustiques. Du coup des moustiquaires aux portes et fenĂȘtres seraient un plus.
