Gute, sehr saubere Unterkunft
Wir haben nur eine Nacht im Hotel übernachtet aber alles war super. Das Hotel ist zwar sehr einfach, aber - im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Kommentaren hier - war bei uns das Personal freundlich, das Zimmer sehr grosszügig und sauber und das Abendessen im Restaurant auch sehr gut. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem gesamten Service.

wer Fokus auf Natur hat ist dort gut aufgehoben. Tolle Landschaft, Hotel Oase im Nichts. Zimmer sehr gut, Restaurant nicht empfehhlenswert, gegenüber neuerdings ein Laden mit allem notwendigen. Kalte Getränke und Lebensmittel und kleiner Tacostand, genug zur Versorgung.

Nice place in the middle of nowhere
Hotel Mision can be found along HWY1 down Baja California. Rooms are nice, good value for money and the food in the restaurant is authentic and good - try the 100 anos tequila! Building is also very nice. Exactly what you need on your way up or down Baja.

Zwischenstopp auf unserer Rundreise
Schönes Hotel in einer alten Mission, wir waren dort eine Nacht als Zwischenstopp auf unserer Rundreise. Zimmer zweckmäßig und groß, aber eher einfach. Über den Service können wir nicht viel sagen da wir weder im Restaurant waren noch etwas besonderes benötigten, lediglich WLAN wäre schön gewesen. Es waren jedenfalls ständig Mitarbeiter unterwegs die gewischt oder aufgeräumt haben, so mein Eindruck. Schöne Umgebung, aber natürlich einsamer Ort im Nirgendwo. Zwar kein Frühstück inkl., wussten wir aber vorher.

Alleinlage führt zur schlechten Preis-Leistung
Schon bei der Ankunft wird man von lustlosen Mitarbeitern, die sich noch über die Gäste lustig machen, empfangen. Für 93 Euro ohne Frühstück hat das Hotel wenig zu bieten. Die Zimmer sind zwar groß, aber wenig gemütlich und sinnvoll eingerichtet. Man darf auch nicht hinter Möbel und Lampen schauen, dort ist seit Jahren nicht saubergemacht worden. in unserem Zimmer waren einige Lampen kaputt, die dann auch gewechselt wurden, es wurde aber nicht gleich saubergemacht. Das Essen im Restaurant war kalt, da es wahrscheinlich schon zu lange in der Küche stand, der völlig überforderte Kellner konnte es auch allein nicht schaffen. Im übrigen war das der einzige freundliche Angestellte in diesem Hotel. Es gibt kein Wifi und wie sonst üblich auch kein Kaffeekocher im Zimmer, nichtmal einen zweiten Stuhl. Hier wird die Lage des Hotels, weit ab von der nächsten Unterkunft schamlos ausgenutzt!

schöner Aufenthalt, mitten in der Wüste. Man fühlte sich wie in einer Oase.Einrichtung wie in allen "Mision" Hotels: gut. Das Restaurant auch gut. Das Innenpatio mit der Fontäne sehr dekorativ.

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times in the past and have been very satisfied This time the the property is showing its age. There is little attention to detail in the rooms which are tired and lacking. (Sinks not draining, toilet not draining properly, light bulbs missing) Overall the property was a disappointment this time.

EXTRA $40 for your dog !
This was our third time staying here. Very nice grounds and rooms. Good Air Cond. Great food in the restaurant with excellent service. We were disappointed that we were charged an additional 800 peso ($40) for our little 5 lb dog. We had never been charged before and this will affect our staying here again.

It's always a pleasure to arrive at Hotel Mision after a long drive. The surroundings in Catavina are special with the huge boulders and cirios (a cacti that only grows here). The staff are congenial, the restaurant and bar serve up tasty food and beverages. I always feel safe here.
