Fantastic Stay

My daughter and I came to Cedar City for a soccer tournament and needed a clean, central and cozy place to stay. Amid's Inn achieved all of those requirements. It was right off Main Street so amazing food was in walking distance. All of our soccer fields we needed to travel too were only 5-6 minutes away. If we were there for Shakespeare, that was literally in our back-yard. During our downtime, we walked around all the Shakespeare theaters. All-in-all, it was a fantastic stay!

Our host was very welcoming and we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere at Amid’s Summer Inn Bed & Breakfast. Breakfast was delicious! Location was also convenient and it was just a few minutes walk to the Utah Shakespeare Festival.

My Favorite Cedar City B&B Inn

Cedar City is well known for its beds & breakfast inns that cater to people attending the Shakespeare Festival and enjoying the local hiking (Zion and Brice Canyon National Parks and Cedar Breaks National Monument, among others). Amid Summer's Inn is my personal favorite. The new owners, Starla and Dennis, are really wonderful people. The breakfast is different each day, and includes special items made from family recipes. The conversations at breakfast with the other guests are always enjoyable, and a part of the experience. The rooms are all different, and are more or less Shakespearean themed depending upon the room - look at their website to decide which is best for you. The location is perfect, on a quiet street only two blocks from the Shakespeare festival and two blocks from downtown the other direction.

Clean, comfy stop.

Venetian basement room was a bit small, but worked well, as our daughter stayed in the joined room. Air conditioner was a bit loud, so we opened the window after it cooled down. GREAT friendly, helpful owners. Let us borrow a cooler for the week. Plenty for breakfast if you don't have gluten/dairy/egg allergies.

This was without a doubt one of, if not, the best B and B we've stayed. Starla was extremely accommodating showing us several rooms, all very different, from which to choose. She even helped carry our heavy ice chest inside. Her recommendation for dinner was spot on. And the breakfast was too die for. Would loved to have stayed more than one night. Thank you Starla and Dennis

Amazing! Definitely will stay here again when wer go to see family. They have gone above and beyond the extra mile to make your stay ad comfortable and easy a possible. Friendly, clean, comfortable and the breakfasts are to die for. There was nothing more we could ask for our that could have been provided to make our stay anymore comfortable.

Loved it

First time we used a bed and breakfast and absolutely loved it. Starla and Dennis were great and very helpful. Only downside for us was the bed was too soft for us. We prefer a firm bed. Would definitely stay there again. The stuffed French toast was amazing!!!

I was traveling by myself and I couldn’t have felt more safe and more like I was staying with extended family. This place was incredible, not just for it amnemities, but for the wonderfully sweet owners who went out of their way to make this a perfect stay. The breakfast was absolutely divine. Homemade syrups, baked French toast, eggs, bacon, potatoes, fruit, and just about anything else you could possibly want or need. I loved talking with the other guests and hearing their great travel stories. If you’re looking for a home away from home, look no further!!

We'll be back!

Loved this place. B n B's are just the best way to go when you travel, especially with family. I just loved the ambiance and hands on willingness of this host family to be available to their guests questions and needs. This old home has been transformed into a very welcoming and delightful experience with each themed room a little surprise to explore in itself. The delicious breakfast provided the next morning, was a social experience with the other guests about their adventures in and around Cedar City, and that was part of the charm of this place. Each aspect of this stay was something worth returning for. And so, we shall!

Home away from home

Lovely house with even more amazing hosts. Location was convenient and our hosts offered excellent recommendations for dinning and activities. Daily breakfast was delicious, would definitely stay again.
