„The rooms are of good quality, so is the bathroom. My balcony was to the quiet botanical garden which was very nice. Rooms on the other side of the building facing the road are loud. Breakfast buffet is good, the choice is just OK. Very helpful staff which prepared an extra early breakfast for me when I was leaving to a national park trip --> thank you! The only weakness I noticed was the weak Wifi in the room. Paying for an executive room I would expect a stable, strong signal“

„The hotel is located in upper floors of a shopping mall. I stayed for 4 nights and took the executive room which still had a very acceptable price (approx. 80 USD). The room was big, nicely furnished and despite the central location quiet at night. Breakfasts are OK, a mid-size buffet with everything you need. The staff is friendly but the service-orientation could be better. All in all I enjoyed the stay and can imagine that I would stay there again.“

The breakfast is ordered via reception on the evening before, and the choices are rich. Since I was the only guest in the whole hotel I had the whole attention of the staff for myself... what a luxury. The hotel is not top-shot in Kampala, but definitely worth the money paid. „Stayed at Greendale for about a month. Really well furnished. I'm a germaphobe and this place is mostly immaculate. Friendly stuff, the pool came in handy during the hot days. Responsiveness from management to issues is satisfactory. I think the only suggestion I would make is the electricity pay-as-you go component ought to be mentioned on the site as something that has to be reloaded by the tenant after the initial tokens run out so one knows what to expect.
