« Best hotel I've stayed in a long time - such character, spacious, clean and the food was excellent. My favorite part was a little kitchen area for guests with tea & coffee, drinks, snacks, home made cookies each afternoon. Highly recommend the Fairview Inn. »

« Loved staying here. The charm and history was amazing. Bob went above and beyond for us with drinks and snacks in the kitchen. Along with extra towels, blankets etc. Breakfast was amazing and well priced, staff was super friendly and so knowledge about history of property. »

« The bathtub drain was extremely slow and you had to stand in 3-4 inches of water when showering. the toilet was the lowest I have ever seen - even lower than some grades chools. The entire "suite" was outdated, worst of all the bed. The mattress had no support at all. Not worth the money at all. »

« Nous sommes restés une nuit dans la chambre "penthouse" de l'auberge. L'accueil a été très sympathique alors que nous arrivions tard. Les équipements et la chambre sont confortables et très propres même si l'extérieur ne paye pas de mine. La plage est toute proche et les Sleeping Bear Dunes lakeshores également . C'est un bon spot pour rayonner au nord de la péninsule du lac Michigan ! »

« This outstanding Inn is a wonderful place! Restored to the charm of a 1900s Inn was modern bathrooms, excellent air conditioning, and modern conveniences (Wi-Fi/TVs). The staff is world class and makes you feel at home. A very restful place for a fully staffed self service, complementary kitchenette for all to share. We will highly recommend this end to all our friends and definitely will stay here again when we’re in the area. In fact, it’s worth a special trip just to stay here at least once...

« Check in was simple. Room was very small (that's ok) Had a K cup coffee maker with no k cups or or drinking cups. No ice machine or ice bucket, the guys at the creamery gave us cups of ice. Hair dryer was falling off the wall and sounded like it was going to catch on fire. Toilet ran non stop. Shower curtain to short and all the water goes onto the floor. Only 2 towels. AC worked good and TV was nice. It has the potential to be a really nice place. »

« I absolutely loved my stay at Sanford House. I went for the Spain Portugal World Cup game at the Dallas Stadium, and I’m so glad I found this gem. The hotel is only 15 min walk to the stadium, which save time and money on transportation. And the hotel has a lovely free shuttle to and from the stadium if you don’t want to walk. You can request it anytime you want. The rooms are individually decorated and themed with famous composers. My room The Brahms was spacious and gorgeous. The windows...
