It’s was very clean and safe, the parking is under watch and with only 15 minutes of walk to the very center of Chicago it’s the perfect place to stay for a trip there. « We stayed at this hotel once before, several years back. Hotel staff was very friendly, but the room was not as clean as we expected. The carpet was quite dirty and worn. The biggest worry we had, was there were extension outlets plugs. There were not enough outlets to accommodate our phone chargers and my hearing aid charger. We felt that the money we spent was not in line with the accommodations. It was ok for the one night we spent there, but I don’t think we will be going back. »

Quiet location (no football game) and walls seems soundproof because I slept well. Room is smelling terribly bad. Although smoking in the room is forbidden by law since 2010, the smoke smell is still there. Renovation (not only paint) is needed to solve that problem. »

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à l’Hotel Riu Plaza Chicago. Tout était parfait, de notre arrivée jusqu’à notre départ. Le personnel était accueillant, professionnel et toujours disponible. L’emplacement de l’hôtel est idéal, très pratique pour visiter Chicago et proche de tout. La chambre était impeccable, confortable et très propre. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié le petit déjeuner, très varié et de grande qualité, avec beaucoup de choix pour tous les goûts. Un vrai plus également : le bar sur le rooftop, qui offre une magnifique vue sur Chicago. C’était un endroit parfait pour se détendre et profiter de la ville. Nous recommandons cet hôtel sans hésitation et y reviendrons avec plaisir lors d’un prochain séjour à Chicago."
