« Beautiful location & a great variety of amenities . This resort truly has anything you’d want or need: lodging in hotel/lodge rooms, cottages, lakeside homes, or camping. Recreation options include golfing, fishing, hiking, boating (kayaks, canoes, SUPs, pontoon & Craig cat rentals), 3 restaurants with gourmet food. Everything on the resort is walkable. The indoor & outdoor heated pool & hot tub and fitness room are also a bonus. »

« We had absolutely no problem staying at Elk River except our stay wasn't long enough. The young lady who registered us in at 8pm was lovely and another young lady saw us at our car, in the rain, getting our luggage and stopped to help us carry it all to our room. Our Bird Song room was wonderful and clean, we enjoyed every minute except it was just too short. We travel quite a bit from through West Virginia and Elk River will definitely be a stop along the way, making sure we stay a few...

« Lovely place, secluded in the woods. Nice porch for sitting on the main building. Note a lot of places to eat in Marlinton, but if you take food, there are cooking facilities, and fridge and microwave in some room. Not far to the bike trail. »

« The renovations to the rooms were modern and very clean and beds were very comfortable. The price was affordable and I will likely return on my next visit to Elkins. »
