Location was great! Easy walk to restaurants, shopping and beach. Great communication when booking, checking in and checking out. House was clean and comfortable.

The good: Overall it was pretty clean other than some minor things like a few hairs in the bathroom, bathroom drawers especially and some crumbs in kitchen drawers. Across the street to the left is direct access to the beach, to the right it’s a short walk to the pier and the main road with restaurants and shops. Check in was easy and the emails/texts from My Ocean Rental were informative and easy to follow. It was also nice that they texted to let us know we could check in early. The floors, towels and bedding were nice and clean which were greatly appreciated. The not so good: You hear every noise from the units attached and located next and behind you. We were woken up at 1:30 am by a loud group of people staying in the unit up the stairs behind us and they partied outside until 3:30 am making it impossible to sleep. The bathroom floor is literally sinking in, most of the subflooring has seen better days and is sinking in spots which is concerning. The top deadbolt lock does not work on the front door. The only lock is the one built in with the keypad and it’s hard to tell if it is locked from the outside since you can open the door from the inside no matter which way the lock is turned on the inside. My daughter found a baby palmetto bug (American roach) in the bathroom the morning we were leaving and we found a spider running around the master bedroom that morning as well..probably coming out due to the extensive rain we had all weekend.

Property was in a great location. Bathroom could have used some extra cleaning. Make up on walls and tile floor broken and unsafe.

Cute place

Enjoyed our stay at Salty Shack. My only complaint would be the water pressure in the shower. We loved everything else. the location made it so convenient to everything you’d need.

Our stay in Folly Beach.

The property was clean and well stocked with nice linens and towels. The location was great. Our dogs were very happy there. The porch was a good asset but could use some work. I got a splinter in my foot there. Also, the porch umbrella needs to be replaced with one that is of regulation height. Other than that, great stay!

Spotless

This was a perfect getaway. Across from beach & pier. Walking distance to restaurants. 20 minutes to downtown Charleston. 45 minutes to airport. Clean & spacious. We will return!

Perfect location

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights and the location really just can't be beat, it’s a short walk to the beach and downtown. The place was very clean and ideal for the 2 of us.

Great Location!

The location was key! It was right across from the beach and right around the corner from the market. You could also walk to all of the restaurants. The apartment was clean and the bedrooms were spacious. We had everything we needed! The only recommendation I have is to have maybe one more chair for the deck or upgrade that furniture a bit.

Perfect Location

Great stay! Very clean and accommodating. Would have preferred Keurig Coffee maker instead of drip but we made it work! Maybe another mirror in Master bedroom room with having only 1 bath. But overall, would use again!

Dog friendly vacay

We loved the location near the beach and downtown. It was great to walk the dogs on the beach before 10am and after 6pm. The Bark Park was a quick golf cart ride away. All we needed was easily available from cookware to pillows.

Great place to stay!

Great place, great location, exactly like photos ,very clean. We never got back in the car until it was time to leave. Close to the beach, pier, and downtown! We discovered Berts Market around the corner, sells everything!!! Well definitely be back!

Easy Folly beach stay

We absolutely loved our stay! Location is TOP notch. Off street parking, hose outside to wash off beach feet. Laundry, lovely functional kitchen, and two spacious bedrooms. Bathroom has plenty of hot water, and tvs were in the living room and each bedroom. Perfectly situated to grab groceries, a coffee, or a walk to dinner and shopping. We can’t wait to come back!

Folly Therapy!!

Perfect location for us!

We enjoyed Folly Beach. Few steps to the beach , restaurants, bars, pier- Had a great time and drive to Charleston two days also. Very nice! Grocery behind and then larger 6 min away

Perfect location for beach getaway

Location location location. Perfect location for beach access and restaurants. King sized master bed was comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Would definitely choose this rental again. Communication with property owner/manager was spot on.
