Tucked into a characterful wing of our centuries-old water mill, this is a place where the only agenda is the one you choose — coffee on the terrace as the stream murmurs past, an afternoon lost in a book from the little library, pancakes cooking in the kitchen while the wood stove crackles nearby.

The heart of the home is a spacious living room warmed by a wood-burning stove, opening onto a fully equipped kitchen — dishwasher, coffee machine, Senseo, kettle, everything you need to cook and gather.

A cozy dining area invites long, unhurried meals.
On the same floor as the living area, a separate guest toilet with washing machine and dryer keeps practical matters out of sight.
Their is also a compact extra room holds a comfortable sofa bed (1.60m) for additional guests.

Upstairs, two charming bedrooms await, each with its own private en-suite bathroom (sink, toilet, shower):
Bedroom 1: a king-size bed, perfect for parents
Bedroom 2: two single beds
Bed and bath linen are included, so all you need to bring is yourselves.

A supermarket is just 15 minutes away for everyday essentials, while the charming towns of Limoges and Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche are within a 30-minute drive, should you feel like exploring further afield.

Nearby, you´ll find beautiful hiking trails and lovely lakes where you can swim, sunbathe an unwind.

Step outside the gîte and through the garden or the French doors, and the mill's grounds unfold before you: a gentle stream winding through, hammocks swaying in the shade, and sheltered corners made for reading, resting, or simply watching the light change.

The whole space, indoors and out, is entirely private and exclusively yours for the duration of your stay. We live in a separate wing of the mill and are always nearby if you need us — otherwise, your peace is yours to keep.
