We loved taking walks, playing pickleball, and sitting in the hot tub. We also took a day trip to Leavenworth which was very fun.

The only issue we had was with several large cobwebs upstairs and gnats/bugs stuck to them inside when we arrived, something that should have been easy to spot when cleaning before a new check-in. However, upon letting the maintenance crew know, they were very quick to remedy the issue and were nice and professional. A small blip in an otherwise awesome vacation. Great view and access to the amenities, the shuttle around the neighborhoods is awesome, and the ATV transports down to the lake are perfect. We had a great time and would not hesitate to go again.

Pretty location but tight bed/bath rooms

Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the views from this rental property and the lovely hot tub and large outside deck where our little dog could enjoy the outdoors while secured. The bedrooms are on the small side with furniture that makes it hard to get around beds. We were two families renting so were bummed there is only one master with an ensuite. Dishwasher broke the first day which was a pain but they gave us a discount on the stay which was appreciated. We love the Lookout community but found our first summer visit to be very busy with all swimming areas crowded with loud children, an adult pool option would be a nice addition. September visits were always magical. Being able to rent a boat from the Lookout dock area was wonderful and their Saturday night concert was so fun.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great trip, and renting this home made it better. The pool filter noise a few other guests mentioned is noticeable, but definitely not disruptive. We booked this house for the views from the deck and they didn’t disappoint. The house was well appointed with most things you need as a family, which was helpful with two young children. The walk to the pool was under 2 minutes and made going back and forth a breeze. Definitely recommend this neighborhood for families. My only “complaints” would be that the bunk room downstairs doesn’t have blackout blinds like the upstairs rooms which made it hard for the kids to sleep in (aka not wake up at first light!) also we couldn’t get more than one of the burners on the bbq to light so barbecuing was a bit of a struggle. We ran into an issue with the pool gate not opening but after calling the property management they had it fixed quickly.

Great Views, Bad temperature regulation

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house had beautiful views! The house was also well equipped with games and kitchen amenities. The furniture was very comfortable and fit our family very well. We stayed in the winter and was disappointed that the deck with patio furniture and table with fire pit were all covered with snow and unusable. The cushions were still on the furniture, so even if we wiped off the snow the cushions would still be soaked. We had been excited to sit out on the deck with hot cocoa enjoying the view. Also, the area around the hot tub was covered in ice and pretty dangerous to get in and out of without putting down a bunch of towels. Side note: there was no place to hang or place towels near the hot tub. The other disappointing part was the ventilation as mentioned in other reviews. There were notes all over to keep the house between 74-77 degrees in order to keep the bottom level warm. Which meant the people sleeping upstairs on the 3rd floor were roasting, which made for a few rough nights of sleep. I can imagine the opposite would be true in the summer with A/C. Just for those reasons we won’t be staying in this home again. For the price, and considering it’s one of the newer homes, I was hoping for better nights sleep.

It was really hot in the house except for the upstairs that had separate wall mounted ACs. We set the thermostat to 70 and the temp in the lower levels was 89. By next morning it had only gone down to 85. We call for someone to check, and did not get service until 5:30 that night. Temp outside 103. It was not an enjoyable 24 hours for everyone.

The size worked well for our large group. Our major complaint was how hot this house got. Only the rooms on the top floor had A/C available. The main floor where you spend majority of time was hot all day and couldn't be cooled off. The bottom floor got so hot that the bedroom was practically unusable. For a house in Chelan rented in the hot summer months, the air needs to be fixed to maintain temperature.

The large outer deck was a nice amenity and is shaded in the afternoon. We also loved the propane fireplace on the deck. Views from the home are also good. The air hockey table in the game room was a hit but it is missing pucks and the only other issue is that the hot tub needs a new cover. Other than those two minor issues, the house was great!

Amazing View, But HVAC Needs Work

The best part of the house is the stunning view from the dining room. Only complaint we have is the HVAC. There is easily a 20 degree difference between the main floor and the 2nd floor. We stayed here in February when the temperature outside was in the low teens and had to sleep with the windows open. There's only one temperature control for the entire house. If you have it set for a comfortable temperature on the main floor then the basement is cold and the 2nd floor is HOT.
