Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel

Beautiful property and lovely people. The room was mostly as expected except for one issue listed below. The service was very friendly and responsive. However, I would have rather paid a bit more for my room to have less nickel and diming. A list of specific feedback below. There's a 4% per night fee to provide employees with a living wage. I always have a problem with this. It is your job as an owner to pay your employees fairly, not mine. I won't eat at restaurants that do this and I would have chosen to stay somewhere else had I known about this hidden fee. The wifi stopped working at night and the location is a total deadzone for cell service. Nbd because I was on vacation but uncomfortable that my sons couldn't reach me. The hotel is noisy. Creaking floors are one thing but there were full late night parties (past 2am) happening while we were there and no one is on site to call or notify. Breakfast is not a full breakfast as shown. It is bread and mixed fruit and some kind of premade quiche in a warmer. Same every day. They give you a folio at breakfast that encourages you to tip the staff. Cynthia was great but I was already paying an extra 4% a night on my room rate. No housekeeping unless you stay more than 3 nights. Many of the rooms including ours had fireplaces. But there's another undisclosed (before booking) fee if you want a fire started. All the cups and glasses in our room were obviously not clean. They were replaced quickly and with apologies.

Alles Top! Ein paar Dinge gehören Repariert, jedoch ist die komplette Anlage trotz eine höheren Alters top gewartet. Die Grillstationen sind in die Jahre gekommen und eher unpraktisch. Alles in allem wirklich zu empfehlen. Wir werden wieder kommen.
