I was not happy in this hotel. My room was behind the elevator and the elevator sound was very noisy inside the room and I could not sleep well all night. It was a bad experience. Also, when I entered my room in the evening, I wanted to take a shower, and there was no hot water. When I called the receptionist she responded angrily. The way she spoke was bad.

The staff was amazing, the parking lot had glass where someone had their windows broken out which did not make me feel safe. The foyer area was beautiful but the room was horrible, the floor was dirty, the tub was dirty, the bathroom was not clean, I will never stay here again very unacceptable!! Disappointed!!

The room was excellent. However, the sink was stopped up in the bathroom. the room need a microwave. The refrigerator was built poorly and did not hold much because of the way the can holder is in the door. Check-out was very easy.

Every worker seemed like they hated their job. Paid $15 for the worst breakfast buffet I've ever seen. Every other hotel with breakfast included is better than what they offered. For some reason all drinks have to be ordered with the server. but the server was on his phone or leaning with his back against the tables. so i didn't get my second drink until after i was done eating. then he hovered over the receipt while I was signing it. which is uncomfortable when writing down the tip. Pool closed earlier than advertised time so i didn't get to use it. Hands down worst hotel I've stayed at.

My room smelled like mold when I got in. I got moved to a different room that was smaller because the same size wasn't available. New room had a shower handle that was broken. Hallways smelled bad. Other guests let their kids run around the halls screaming and the hotel didn't do anything about it. No breakfast. You had to have wrist band on to use the pool (even though you had to use your key card to get into the pool) otherwise you were treated like a criminal.

Rooms need updating.
I was a bit disappointed. I had not planned on staying in Chicago, so i didnt have my plug in wall charger for my phone, just the cable. The room was in need of an update and had no charger port anywhere.my company booked me at the Motel 6. I changed to the Doubletree, figuring they would have the charger ports. Turns out the Motel 6 was just remodeled. Figures. Oh, the bathroom was redone and looked nice. The lobby was nice. Just the room was outdated

Fighting at the Hotel
Fighting was going on several hours during the night. Police were called because a group of people cound not stop arguing and shouting in the hall way. This started around 930 pm and didn't end until almost 1 am.

1st over night stay
My husband stayed overnight as a late V Day present for ourselves. The pool was nice a deep about 6.5 deep but the water was super cold. So many kids screaming and yelling and we got out because it was so loud. Their parents were there and didn’t say anything to them about using their inside voices. So annoying to the point you couldn’t have a conversation. Then around 1:30am there were a bunch of drunk women fighting in the hallway it woke me up from a dead sleep. The police were on the Floor (we stayed on the 2nd floor) and in the parking lot. We couldn’t fall asleep. Plus no insulation between the rooms. We could hear the people next door getting busy. Mind you, you could tell the guy was a 5 second chump but come on every 45 minutes she moaning. Ugh we checked out at 6 am because we didn’t sleep at all. It is an older hotel. And they don’t serve coffee 24/7 as advertised…disappointing.
