« No snow, and too early and cold for outdoor activities, but we still had a great time! The ice was just starting to melt and both geese and swans graced us with their presence. The fireplace was wonderful. We actually didn't eat out at all and found cooking there to be fine. One thing I didn't see in the description or reviews is that the porch is independently heated, so you can use it year round. (forgive me if I'm wrong about that). The porch is beautiful! It's about 10-15" out of Hayward, so...

It would have been helpful in the property listing and subsequent communications to explicitly list the cabin #, but otherwise we were very happy with the property and definitely would stay there again. »
