« Nice comfy cabin by the lake with kayaking option. The staff was very helpful and they had DVDs to entertain the kids. It was convenient with kitchen and utensils, and the beds were comfortable. Loved it overall! »

« The property was in excellent condition. Other than issue with TV that was not working. Anthony went out of his way to get us another TV and hook us up to prime TV. There was still issue with connecting when we left. Anthony and Anita who worked at the restaurant was very pleasant and helpful. Beautiful area. »

« Nous y avons séjourné un lundi et avons appris que le restaurant du Résort était fermé les lundis et mardis. Les options ne sont pas à proximité. Nous avons du acheter un sandwich et des chips dans un magasin non loin. Le patron était très sympathique et s'est excusé en indiquant qu'il devait fermer 2 jours semaine afin de donner une pause à son personnel. C'est un superbe endroit...le préféré de notre voyage! »

« The property is as described. The architecture is ... quirky. Hallways that lead nowhere. Strange elevated, carpeted stage in rear upstairs bedroom. And what might be a deal-killer for some, there are NO DOORS to the upstairs bedrooms. And lots of random rooms with no discernible purpose nor doors. You will want to get very, very familiar with how to use the main fireplace if you plan to stay warm in colder months. That said, my three teenage boys and I had a blast. Would consider returning...

« in general just an amazing experience. Day of check-in some issues with the Wi-Fi that were mine. But password on slip of paper looked like a large c when it was lowercase so that was a little frustrating. Mgr never responded back. Also was told that there would be free kayaks use, with life preservers in box on the dock. The kayaks were there but no paddles and no life preservers. »

« What a wonderful trip! The cabin was so perfect and quiet. I came to study for an important test and brought my two dogs. It was just what we needed—a quiet place to study and a beautiful place to visit the lake and go on hikes with my dogs. I will definitely bring my family back, as I did not have a chance to zip line, which was right around the corner from the hike. I did make time to visit Crater Lake, which was breathtaking. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin. »

« We enjoyed our family trip at the cabin, clean, well stocked and furnished. We especially enjoyed the deck and the view of the woods and nature, used the BBQ and played games at the round dining table inside. The listing needs an update, should state that there IS air conditioning, and that the guests can use the pool and spa without a fee simply by providing the rental info and guest name at the front desk. »

« 2 things stand out -- the lakeside view and quiet area and the super-comfy king sized bed. Both these made the stay worthwhile. »

« Lonesome Duck was a lovely property to stay on. Steve, Debbie, and family were friendly and helpful from when we booked until we left. I highly recommend it, the peace and quiet were unbelievable to this city girl. Sitting out on the porch each night and watching the nightlife was nice. It was nice to walk around the property during the day. »

« This place was so nice! It was spacious enough to make it really a great place to hang out for a couple of nights. My dogs enjoyed looking around in the grass and it was a great peaceful getaway from the noise and busyness of the city but only minutes away if we needed anything. I would definitely stay here again. »
