The size was exactly what we needed. We loved being able to see the ponies at the Bebe ranch from the back porch. We even had the pleasure of seeing deer in the front yard in the morning. The house had everything we needed. The only drawback was the morning of the pony swim. We were too far down Ridge Rd to get back to the rental after the ponies had made their swim. We had to wait almost 3 hrs to get back. They parade the ponies to the carnival grounds & the turn up Bebe street was were we needed to get to in order to return home. We made the best of the situation. A little warning would have been nice.
Whispering Pines was a wonderful home with plenty of space! It was super cozy and definitely home away from home! We appreciate the owners cleanliness of the space as well!
We had a great stay at Whispering Pines. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking for a family, and everything was clean and well kept. There were great, quiet places for babies to sleep while everyone else could enjoy their evenings. The screened in porch was great for evenings and mornings.
I grew up coming to Chincotegue Island my whole life. This time, I treated my parents to a vacation here. The house was wonderful, the screened in porch was a great place to hang out after strolling the town and sunbathing on the beach. The house itself, backs up to the original Beebe a ranch, home of Misty, the foal that peaked everyoneâs interest in the island. The house itself had all of the amenities one could need, including a bbq grill and outside shower. I would absolutely book here again.
We had 4 adults, 4 children under 7years old, and 2 dogs- this house was very comfortable for all of us! It felt like just the right size without being too cramped. The screened in porch was our favorite place in the home. Management was very quick and attentive to any needs/concerns we had and were always friendly and professional. Thank you for accommodating our family and we look forward to staying in your homes in the future!
Nice location. Quiet and had what we needed.
Our dog ran out the door and went into neighbors lawn, and an accident on our part because she pushed screen door open. The neighbor called the leasing office and we did tell him it wouldnât happen again.
Anyway, it was a little disheartening because we had already said to him it wouldnât happen again. We were there to enjoy and relax. Our dog is wonderful, and if they live there all the time I understand, but they were not friendly in the least. Just an FYI to whomever rents next or in the future. Make sure your dog does not get loose.
Overall, we had a wonderful time and the rental very nice.
Peaceful street and neighborhood.
Permanent next door neighbors friendly.
The house was clean and adequate linens provided. Except another dish towel and a hand towel for kitchen should be added.
I would suggest that the table and chairs on the screened in porch be included in the preparation of the house to be rented.
We had to clean the table and chairs in the screened in porch in front as well as clean the fire pit chairs on the back porch.
