  • This stunning converted barn sits within the heart of Wiltshire, adjacent to the owner's property and located between Chippenham and Lacock. Chippenham is within a mile, a very short drive away and home to many shops and eateries, with plenty there to keep yourself busy. A little further afield is the Georgian Spa town of Bath, famous for the Bath spas, theatres, racecourse and rugby ground and makes a wonderful base from which to explore Somerset and the Cotswolds. There is a host of popular attractions to explore, Longleat, Lacock, Stonehenge, Stourhead, Glastonbury and Cheddar Gorge to name but a few.

    A shingle path leads from the parking area through the garden to the private entrance of this beautiful converted barn. Just inside the door is a stunning open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with original stone walls and high wooden beams. The stylish kitchen area with centre island is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine. There is a comfortable dining space adjacent, perfect for mealtimes. Take time to relax in the lounge area, where there are inviting sofas for curling up and watching a film on the TV. There are three bedrooms to choose from, a twin room with TV and Jack and Jill en-suite bathroom with a shower over bath and WC (also accessed from the hallway). The very impressive and large super-king-size bedroom has a Smart TV and an en-suite wet room with shower and WC. Completing the accommodation are twin beds on the mezzanine level above the living area.

    Heading outside you will find a pretty shingle terrace with garden furniture, perfect for al fresco dining or a spot of stargazing. The gardens and views are peaceful with plenty of wildlife to watch and a lovely pond with extra seating, the perfect spot to lose yourself in a good book or enjoy a nice glass of wine on those warmer summer nights. Off-road parking for two cars is available to the side of the property.
