Nestled in the centre of a quintessential Cotswold village, our charming four-bedroom cottage offers the perfect blend of cosy comfort and countryside character. Thoughtfully designed and full of warmth, it’s an ideal base for slow mornings, long walks, and relaxed evenings by the log burner or relaxing in the sunny garden. .

The space
Perfectly located, you’re just minutesfrom some of the Cotswolds’ most loved destinations, including Daylesford Organic Farm, Charlbury, Estelle Manor and Soho Farmhouse, Stow on the Wold, The Slaughters etc, as well as endless rolling countryside walks from right outside the door and picture-perfect villages.

The cottage features four beautifully styled double bedrooms (two spacious rooms, one with an en-suite, and two smaller rooms), making it well suited for families or groups of friends.

Downstairs, you’ll find a welcoming living room and separate dining room—both with traditional log burners—alongside a classic cottage kitchen.

Outside, there’s a generous enclosed garden, perfect for alfresco dining or unwinding after a day exploring. There is an excellent pub in the village (The Swan) serving delicious food and excellent drinks.

This is a traditional style cotswold cottage. So expect wonky floorboards, creaky doors, a no straight lines.

Dog Friendly 🐕

Ascott Under Wychwood is a beautiful, typical Cotswold village. There is a wonderful village pub serving lovely food (apparently the Cotswolds nicest beer garden), a 12th century church and a handy village shop. Chipping Norton is 10mins drive, and Charlbury train station (direct to London) is 6 mins drive.

2x Log burners - We provide a basket of logs for your arrival. We can arrange more logs to be purchased if you would like.

Parking:
The house has a private driveway.
It will fit 2 cars, 3 at a squeeze.
Please be aware, it is a little tight.
But if you find it too narrow, there is plenty of free and safe parking in the village.

Other things to note
We're dog lovers (as is the whole of the Cotswolds). We are happy to have up to 2 well behaved dogs. We have to charge £40 for the dog/dogs to stay as this is to allow for extra cleaning.
