« Staff went the extra mile to accomodate our unorthodox arrival time. Room was small (we had been well warned!) but had everything we needed. Fresh milk provided with morning coffee - a really nice toich! »

« One of my favourite places to stay! Beautiful countryside. Lovely comfortable, characterful rooms with horse racing theme! Friendly staff, and excellent freshly cooked breakfasts made with locally sourced ingredients. Plenty of parking. We stayed on a Tuesday when the main restaurant is closed, but enjoyed our evening meal at the White Goose Pizza Co. which is only minutes walk away. »

« The menu provided a great selection of locally produced ingredients. The staff were very pleasant and knowledgeable regarding the choice of drinks on offer. The room was very comfortable and we, including our dog,were made to feel very welcome. »

« Very clean. Great food and a decent bar. 7kW EV chargers. Very easy walk to the Green Dragon pub and Hardraw Force after dinner. Low carb options a bit lacking if you’re diabetic or doing a keto diet but that’s normal and I guess demand is low. »

« This is a beautifully appointed cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's in a quiet location looking out onto a courtyard. Although there is no onsite parking, we had no trouble finding a parking space on the square. Visitors should also be aware that there is no outdoor seating area but we were out and about so this wasn't a problem for us. We would recommend the fish and chip place - but go for small fish and chips! The large are for those with a very large appetite! ...

« Everything was perfect, from the friendly check in by Neil to our check out by a lovely lass whose name I have sadly forgotten The breakfast was superb. The room spacious and clean. We were in room 4 and the only downside, for me, having a sensitive sense of smell was being woken in the comfy bed by the strong smell of bleach, it was even worse in the breakfast area. It did not bother my husband at all. If I stayed again, I would ask for a room higher up, or further away from the bar area and...

« Le village est ravissant et typique des Dales, alors nous avons été déçus en arrivant au B&B par l'état du jardin, avec des détritus dans tous les coins (vieille télé, lino, ferrailles...). L'accueil était correct mais pas chaleureux. La chambre est jolie mais les matelas sont de mauvaise qualité (on ressent les ressorts ) et le lit pour adultes ne fait que 120 cm! Sinon, le petit déjeuner était bon. Nous déconseilons cet endroit, vu le prix beaucoup trop cher pour la qualité du service. »

« Plenty of parking next to hotel room. In my case I could see my motorcycle from the hotel window. Large well appointed clean room with excellent en suite. Lovely views over surrounding hills. Cozy pub with real fire. Good full English breakfast and friendly staff. All good thanks and would stay again. »

« Lovely, clean, well equipped self catering flat. They even provided milk, tea & coffee with a slice of cake. Short walk into centre of Leyburn for pubs and shops. »
