It was a cute house and reviews were good. First night was fine. Second night myself and my children in all three bedrooms were bitten by bedbugs. We left within minutes after discovering the bite marks. Home was left better than we found it. I contacted the home management company and they returned my call. They were very apologetic and asked for photos of bite marks which I sent them. They assured me the property would be inspected and they would let me know of the results. However, they have not contacted me since to let me know the results of the inspection. I filled out a report to VRBO but I have not heard back from them as well. I am terrified that we have brought the bugs home with us. I have contacted exterminator companies and have been told there is no pre-treatment that can be done on our home until after a bug is actually found. (Bite marks are not enough) So sadly, until there is a full blown infestation our home cannot be treated. Unfortunately, this experience is life changing for us regarding the health issues that this could cause. I just pray that no other family will have to go through this. So I cannot in good conscience, recommend this home to anyone.
I got a text notifying me that this would be cancelled at 9:30 pm the night before we were set to stay here. No alternate accommodations offered, no help finding another place. There was no way to contact the property via phone. I was trying to pack and get ready for my trip in the morning and next thing I know I'm scrambling to find accommodations at the 11th hour. Not an acceptable experience for someone one night before their scheduled stay.
A charming home is perfect for families. Close to coffee shops, grocery stores, shops and Beeâs Bbq. The home was clean and comfortable. The parking area in the back of the house could be secured by a gate. Great value and affordable. Love the front porch area.
We found the property to be very central. We were about 20 minutes to everything we wanted to do and see.
The property needs a bit of repairs like broken blinds. I also suggest some curtains in the master bedroom and the others so as to reduce the effect of bright lights shining into the bedrooms. We really enjoyed our stay.
This place was absolutely charming! My daughter chose it for her bridal party to get ready, as it was conveniently just 10 minutes from the wedding venue. We stayed the night before, which allowed us to start the wedding day early with hair, makeup, and a relaxing breakfast with mimosas on the front porch. After the wedding, she and her husband stayed the night as well.
Highly recommend this beautiful and cozy space!
My friends and I loved staying at this charming little home. We felt very safe in the area. Thereâs even a lovely coffee and breakfast place basically right next door. We drove in to downtown Cincinnati but this place would have been great even if you didnât do that. There was a dive bar within walking distance, and many parks very close by. The beds were super soft and it was so nice to have parking in the driveway. We would stay here again.
Communication was great. The owner came right over to change the batteries in the door lock and also granted us a later check out on request. The house is very clean and charming. It is located smack dab in the middle of a business district, but we felt safe. I would recommend a sleep mask for the street lights shining in the windows. I had one and slept like a baby thanks also to the cozy ceiling fan,
Surprisingly quiet, very close to coffee shop and Mariemont Square ,Graters Ice cream shop and movie theater, all nice. Parking was funky in the back but secure, no backyard, close to US50, great for families, even my daughter liked it!
Overall stay was wonderful! Might want to consider blackout curtains in the bedrooms due to surrounding businesses lights, they shine into windows all night. Otherwise it was wonderful
We couldnât have found a better place to stay for Spring Break. The house was just as described. Great location, in a safe neighborhood. We never felt unsafe during our trip. The house was well kept, very clean. Communication was great and they even came to replace batteries in the keyless entry on one door, even though we still had the option of using the other door. We would highly recommend this rental and will definitely stay there if weâre back in the area!
The downstairs is open, clean and filled with original features. The upstairs has two small bedrooms, one larger bedroom and full bath. The house has charm and squeaky floors throughout. The price was fair, and I would not hesitate to stay here again.
We needed a place for our family to stay for a week during a home renovation and found this gem for our family of 5. The house was clean with such historic charm, cutely decorated, and had everything we needed for our week long stay. I loved the location right next to a cute coffee shop Madison Place and then walkable to historic Mariemont for great restaurants! Plus easy/ driveable to Madeira, Indian Hill, or Kenwood area which we needed for school/sports. The listing was exactly like the house experience. The owner was super flexible as we changed dates multiple times in order to map up to our home renovation. I was very thankful!
Would highly recommend!
