« From the homemade muffins, to the electric blanket on the bed....and from listening to the morning birdsong on the sunny veranda, to being able to cook a storm in the well equipped kitchen after long walks in the surrounding countryside. It was simply perfect and everything you need to enjoy nature, fill your cup up and spend quality time with the person you love in such a remarkable place. »

« The view is absolutely breathtaking—second to none! The house is warm, well-heated, and stocked with an impressive stash of board games and DVDs to enjoy by the cosy fireplace (wood supplied—no scavenging required!). The kitchen had everything we needed, and with three bathrooms, no one had to do the bathroom dance. Our adult kids and the dogs had a ball. With a beautiful station nearby, Sydney’s just a train ride away, and Blackheath and Katoomba have more than enough to tempt anyone in need of...

« The Mill House is the most perfect place to recharge and enjoy the spectacular Megalong Valley views. Thank you to Jill for ensuring our stay was enjoyable, a thoughtful card, homemade slide and good local recommendations. The home is beautiful, and ample outdoor sitting areas to enjoy the sun throughout the day. A stay at the Mill House coupled with dinner at Lot 101 is the best experience in Australia. « The house is roomy and very comfortable - The pictures on the site must have been taken quite some time ago and is not an accurate representation of what you walk into.Beware that there is no WiFi - the advert may have changed - if you are going with kids who are data hungry then be sure to take a WiFi device with you.If you have disability with respect to knees / hips / back - the bath may well be problematic for you.We hired the house given its proximity to the town centre - four mates who...

« We spent the most magical family Christmas at this beautiful house this year. The house was perfectly styled and appointed (including the most gorgeous Christmas tree). The whole family, including our pugalier, enjoyed every aspect of the house, including the beautiful garden (great for cricket), the pizza oven and the super comfortable beds. Carol was an exceptionally helpful and generous host and we can’t wait to return! »

« We had a large group of friends staying at Iona Park for a reunion and we were all absolutely blown away. From the moment you arrive, the facilities are jaw dropping. Both the inside, especially the pool room and library, and outside (double tennis court!) were stunning. The kitchen was well stocked and plenty big enough to accommodate all of us. The check-in process was very smooth and the hosts were a pleasure to deal with. I can’t recommend this stay highly enough! »

« Stayed here with my partner for 2 nights. Check in was e-mail communication and that was it (which we prefer). Other reviews say the owner is easy to contact but we never needed to. We weren't familiar with the way the central heating worked at first but once we figured out we had to turn each individual heater on via a dial at the base it was no problem. Heated blankets were nice, enjoyed the use of the fireplace. No complaints! Would gladly stay again. »

« The impression is of generous hosts, super private, we went for a quick walk to the beach at sunset and on to dinner in the main street. Again for brekky. Even a ferry to Cronulla will be planned for our next stay. Loved the whole thing! »

« Lovely stay at Hillside. Made use of both indoor and outdoor fire. Very clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable and warm. Well stocked kitchen. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Close drive to everywhere. »

« We booked last minute for a quick trip to the Blue Mountains. This property was amazing! The technology within was super cool to play with- too many to list but notable includes the ceiling lighting in the kids room, movie projection TV, music throughout, bathroom tech, and even the automatic salt/pepper shakers.
