« Throughly enjoyed our stay as a family with our dog! Staff were super friendly and so helpful and inviting. The location is great with a beautiful view of the lake. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and would definitely recommend and the breakfast was really tasty. Beds really comfortable and clean! Room has everything you need. Will be back for sure! »

« Hillthwaite feels staying in a family home rather than a hotel and the warm welcome certainly matches. The room was spacious and bedding extremely comfortable, which was perfect for a mini break in the area. Extra points for the bathtub (in addition to a full shower)! Breakfast was excellent and the staff is lovely. »

« We came back late from a long walk in the Lakes and realize arriving in our room that they gave us a room with no blind or curtain !!!! We rang the Reception at 11pm they said someone was coming but nobody showed up. The following morning when we wanted to record a formal claim the receptionist just told us "sorry" It is a shame !!! Avoid this hotel ! You pay a high rate for the location but the rest is shameful !! »

« The person at the reception had a very inappropriate behaviour. The welcome was cold, to such a point that we did not stay in the hotel for the diner. Piscine (nice, good temperature), sauna (not warm enough - could not even sweat) Jaccuzzi (out of order). Wifi limited to Whathsapp and Facebok. TV poor quality (channels). « Beautiful views,so peaceful. Plenty of wildlife to watch and stunning walks and scenery. Property was very comfortable and had everything you needed. Highly recomended for a magical getaway. »

« Absolutely terrible experience the property has very steep steps and is located on second floor I traveled with my 11 months old daughter and my wife was pregnant so it was almost impossible without a lift for us to go outside we planned and saved for this holiday 2 years ago but they ruined everything for us and they property and hotels.com refused to reimburse my payment because of their mistake we had to suffer a huge loss »
