« A very appealing hotel.Tastefully traditional. Gardens beautifully laid out;so many private areas to relax in. Range of apartments in modern style too. I had enjoyable stay in Junior Suite. Dining room really attractive with very pleasing views . Always a great relief in Bowness to have a place with great parking!!. MINUS-The cupboard with the clothes rail is no substitute for a proper wardrobe as it is cold and musty. »

« My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was clean and lovely, the staff were friendly and kind, and the breakfast was very filling and delicious. Also, the hotel has spacious parking, and it is not too far from Windermere station, the lake, or many restaurants and shops. Each is about a 10-15-minute walk away. I would strongly recommend this hotel as a comfortable base for enjoying the Lake District. The only slightly disappointing point was that we were not informed...

« Amazing cooked to order breakfasts! Loads of choices. Warm and friendly welcome from Rich and Ada. They gave great suggestions on places to visit. Room was comfortable with everything you needed for a short break in a convenient location to explore that part of the Lake District. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The free access to the local spa was a lovely bonus after all the walking! Would highly recommend and would gladly visit again. »

« We stayed in the Love Haven which was lovely and we had a lovely stay but have to give a bad review on the basis we went to shower in the morning before check out and noticed water was dripping through one of the lights downstairs. We immediately turned it off due to health and safety. When we reported to reception we were told oh yeah maintenance know about it but it’s a big job. When I queried this being a health and safety issue, I did not get a response. They also did not seem bothered that...
