This is the second time I’ve stayed at this property and the owner seems to be money hungry or something, because both times they have managed to come up with an excuse to keep my deposit. On the 1st occasion which happened in September, I went to Walmart and left my 2 teenagers with my 8 and 2 years olds. While I was gone, apparently my 2 yr old pooped (in his diaper) but apparently got a little in the covers. One of my teenagers went to the front desk and asked for clean linen. He was given sheets and a trash bag. Was told to put the dirty linen in the trash bag and take to the dumpster. He did what he was told, and boom at checkout I’m told I will not get my deposit. And behold! I get my receipt via email, and they charged me 100 bucks for the cover they told my kids to throw away! That linen could have easily been washed. Against my better judgment, I went again a few days ago. Checked out this morning. Called to inquire about picking my deposit up when I get off this afternoon and now they’re saying I broke the hair dryer! I never even used it! I only unplugged it to plug in my air fryer to warm up food. Never took it off the wall. Now they’re saying they have a picture of the broken dryer. So! I DID NOT USE THAT DRYER! Let’s be real, I am a black woman. If I use a hair dryer, it’s definitely gonna be one with a brush or comb. Come on now! Ain’t no way you’re that hard up for money and you have a whole hotel! Won’t get me a third time!
