Whidbey Wonder on Whidbey Island exceeded every expectation!The location is unbeatable. Waking up to the water view from the balcony in the casita, plus ending the day by the fire pit was amazing. The outdoor living space was clearly designed for big groups. The fire pit area is perfect for roasting s’mores, and watching the sunset over the water.One of the standouts were the kayaks. Having direct access to the water made it so easy. We were able to paddle out in the mornings when the water was calm, explore the shoreline, and fully immerse ourselves in the natural beauty of Whidbey Island. The hot tub was another highlight. After a day of exploring, hiking, or kayaking, soaking in the private hot tub while overlooking the water was absolute perfection. It was clean, well-maintained, and positioned to take advantage of the views. This is exactly what you hope for when booking a Pacific Northwest waterfront rental.Last - The private casita truly sets this rental apart. The separate space provides privacy, making it ideal for extended family, in-laws, or another couple. The casita’s balcony was a favorite spot for morning coffee, It felt like having a boutique hotel suite tucked into the property.

Super responsive host, very accommodating. We loved the house! Lots of great little details. We traveled with kids and enjoyed the proximity to the ferry so we could watch it come in and out.

This house worked well for our extended family (ages 3-92!). Nice and clean. Well stocked kitchen. We used the hot tub, the 3 kayaks and some of the yard games. Having the separate living space (apt.) allowed for easy naps for the toddler. There were issues with the doors to that unit, which is why we’re not giving it a 5 stars rating.

We enjoyed watching the ferries come and go. It was noisy sometimes.

Great location on the beach. Short distance from ferry. We enjoyed sitting on the beach, kayaking, paddle boarding and crabbing. Visited few restaurants and winery. Hiked and grandson fished (although he didn’t get a bite). Very relaxing vacation with the family.

Amazing property

Just an amazing weekend here! I loved everything about it. The location couldn't be better, the house itself was beautiful and the hot tub was such a treat.There were dog bowls, child locks, and a pack n play, and a bottle of wine and s'mores goodies ready to use!!! I stayed with my elderly parents, and my kids (1.5 and 4) and my dog. It was perfect. Could not recommend this place more! We will hopefully be back!!!

Beautiful waterfront cottage

We truly enjoyed our stay here and found the house very well-stocked with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, the hot tub was a lovely perk, and the views and waterfront access are fantastic. Even though it's directly across from the ferry dock, the noise and traffic wasn't an issue in Dec/Jan when we were there. One note is that if you're traveling with anything close to the listed maximum people in the listing, you may find the floor space of the home a bit tight. The kitchen is well-stocked but not large.

Wonderful family vacation!

We were delighted to return for the second time for a big sibling vacation! The ten of us (husband and sisters, kiddos ranging from 6 to 22, and one happy pup) were so comfortable. We enjoyed cooking in the perfectly appointed kitchen, finding everything we needed, the kids and pup loved running around in the yard, and all of us loved beach walks, watching the ferries and boats go by, and seeing lots of seals! Oh… and the hot tub is always a major favorite! Not only did we have everything we could have needed, there were so many thoughtful extra touches. We loved the local wine, s’mores, and all of the beautiful fresh cut dahlias! We are all already talking about planning our summer vacay here for next year!

The Beach Life

5 of us stayed in this property in July. The house is right on the water and we loved the views. I was initially worried about being right in front of the ferry, but never heard it in the house. I really appreciated the responsiveness of the property manager. She came on her own to reset the Wi-Fi when we couldn't get it to work. We used the kayaks and made s'mores in the fire pit. We used the hot tub and sat in the Adirondack chairs. All in all, it was a great week!!

Wonderful home on Whidbey!

Our family had a wonderful time staying in this little treasure. Watching the ferries, kayaking on the water, making s’mores in the fire pit and just enjoying the view (even had a bald eagle sitting in the front yard on the driftwood!) created a great family vacation. Host could not have been nicer! Highly recommend.

Beachfront Delight

This property has something for everyone. Who would believe the perfect weather on 12/29 and 12/30? Perfect beach walk, fire with s'mores, entertaining seagulls and eagles, and ferry activity. Our family enjoyed all aspects minus limited tv channels for preferred football game and sometimes spotty wifi. This property is perfect for extended family with the studio space for privacy. Kitchen was well equipped but could use a cheese grater and hand whip. The lady next door was delightful. We enjoyed our stay..

Amazing house with incredible host!!

This property was perfect for my entire group. We had a really nice time. The hot tub was a huge bonus with the gorgeous view. The host was responsive and a great communicator and was very flexible! The house had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!!

A week on Whidbey

We had a lovely stay at this home on Whidbey. The first two nights were a little rough though with overnight paving work going on next door at the ferry port. But inside the house, it was pleasant and relaxing with a well-stocked kitchen and comfy beds. The weather was hot for our week’s stay so we were very grateful for the AC. We didn’t partake of the hot tub which would be nice in the cooler months, but we made good use of the kayaks and fire pit. All in all, despite the heat and construction next door, we would stay again.

Grad Weekend Relaxation

Couldn’t have found a better hidden gem on the sound than this property for my extended family to relax after my sister graduated from UW! Separate included studio apartment was perfect for the parents to retire to when us kids wanted to watch movies late, and the huge yard going right up to the beach was perfect for games and a fire pit late into the night. Very close to the ferry dock which means amazing accessibility to local shops and food, but no noise whatsoever from the ships or cars. Our host was never more than a text message away whenever we had a question. Thanks again!

Wonderful Staycation

We live in Edmonds and had some family coming into town so thought it would be fun to rent somewhere on the beach nearby for a few nights. 8 adults and 1 toddler. This house was more stocked than most if not all other vacation rentals we have stayed at and location was very convenient being so close to ferry! We ordered takeout at a Chinese restaurant super close (very tasty too) the first night and bbqed the other nights while taking dips in the hot tub and would end the evenings making a bonfire on the beach making s’mores. This property is great for guests with pets too! They even have dog bowls. My only regret is we couldn’t stay longer.

A gem!

What an amazing house close to Clinton, Langley and a short drive to Coupeville. This house was so clean, well equipped for family and friends and plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. Extra bonuses were the hot tub, Kirsten the amazing host who had donuts delivered to us, and the outdoor spaces for our pups. We can’t wait to come back during warm weather to enjoy kayaking and additional time outdoors. Thanks for the great New Year memories!

Perfect family get away!!

The house was wonderful! Clean and well cared for. Everything you need in the kitchen. Fabulous place for kids. Fenced in yards plus your own private beach!!! Hot tub was wonderful and a popular spot!! We’d love to come again!!!

Great property (and we saw TWO whales!)

I stayed for a long weekend with my husband, his parents and our 10 month old baby. There was plenty of space for all of us and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. The front yard (s) and fire pits were amazing, as were the plentiful toys, balls and games (indoor and outdoor). We spent most of our time sitting on the deck staring at the water, with a fire to warm our toes at night. We also took the kayaks out a few times and it was great. And when we were packing up on Sunday, a neighbor started shouting "whale"...we ran to the water (bewildered baby at the hip!) and lo and behold, there was a whale surfacing RIGHT in front of the house! We also saw one on our first day there, just up the road. Amazing weekend and loved the house - hopefully we can go back someday.

A Week on Whidbey Island

House was as described, although space was a bit limited for 6 adults, 3 children, a baby and a dog. Outdoor yards, decks and views were incomparable. House was well stocked. Host was friendly and responsive.
