„Beautiful place, with excellent staff. We were unluckily because they celebrate weddings and we arrive with a wedding on-going. The music was fine (not too loud) the guest were fine, normal noise for a wedding. The kids fron the wedding were under our window, playing shouting and screaming (normal for kids) but it was very late night and very early morninig so we did not have too much rest. We will come back but we will make sure is not a wedding day.“

„A very nice place to relax and just be. Run by very nice people who were always helpful and friendly. Great pizzas on offer were a real bonus, as we're firepits and wood being available. Will most likely be back in future. “

„Perfect little bolt hole with lovely countryside views. Ideally posiitoned for walks in the forest (5 minute walk from the door to the forest) and down to Symmonds Yat. Paul was a great host, very friendly and accommodating. Everything was super clean in the 'pigsty'. Definitely a funky place to stay. Would definitely go again!“

„Lovely relaxing stay at the Stables. Very smooth check in and lovely to arrive to fresh bread, eggs and cake. Hosts were available via text if anything came up during our stay. Lovely, peaceful stay!“

„A lovely stay on the farm overlooking the fields. It's set aside from the rest of the farm and has everything you need for a quiet & cosy weekend getaway.The hot tub was the perfect temperature and the garden furniture, and BBQ meant we could relax late into the evening outside and cook outside. „We had a lovely relaxing stay to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary at this beautifully presented property. Lisa and Neal were perfect hosts who had put aot of thought and effort into making the accommodation a pleasure to stay in and the countryside view were amazing. The hot tub was a welcome treat too.Very well located, We visited Symonds Yat, Monmouth and the Clearwell Caves and also had a great meal at the Dog and Muffler Inn - all highly recommended and worth visiting. "Gutes Hotel im gehobenen Preissegment. Das ist es meiner Meinung nach nicht Wert. Viele kostenlose Parkplätze, leider werden morgens die Wege durch die Reisebusse der Gruppenreisen versperrt. Soll ja auch niemand einen Schritt zu weit laufen. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung, wird nach ein paar Tagen aber eintönig. Keinerlei Abwechslung, kein Käse..., nur englisch breakfast. Ist man gleich zu Beginn der Öffnungszeiten dort, ist einiges noch nicht fertig oder verfügbar. Das Personal an der Rezeption und im Restaurant ist bemüht freundlich. Im Poolbereich wird schon eine halbe Stunde vor Schließzeit wird mit dem Aufbau der Reinigungsgeräte begonnen. Sicherlich möchte das Personal auch Feierabend haben, doch Kundenorientierung sieht anders aus. Der Poolbereich dürfte gerne auch innerhalb der Öffnungszeiten einmal grob gereinigt bzw. Aufgeräumt werden. Sauberkeit im Zimmer war gut. Fenster im Zimmer ließ sich nur sehr schwer öffnen. Es gab ausschließlich englische Fernsehsender. "
