« We had a lovely 2 nights at the Eaton Oak, The bedroom very well equipped with quality toiletries included. The bed very comfy, no air con but large fan provided which worked very well. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, with lots of smiles, Ant and Laura exceptional. The food was delicious and hot, spoilt for choice. EV chargers an excellent plus and welcome after a long journey. Will definitely be back. »

« Check in was the worst customer experience I have seen in many years. I arrived in front of the welcome desk, the lady was busy on her computer, she did not greet me, kept eyes on her screen for a few minutes. Another customer was waiting with me being totally ignored too and not being greeted too. Then the front desk lady looked at me and only asked “what’s the name ?” No “hello” no “sorry for the wait” no “how was your day today” only “what’s the name !” Clearly this person has not been...

« The hotel overall is excellent, clean and the decor is beautiful. However, there are two minor issues that hold it back. Firstly, not being able to change the temperature in the room was a problem for me, as it was too hot on both nights I stayed in the room. Secondly, I do not know what was going on in the restaurant on Saturday night but it was chaos. There were three tables around me, and myself, and all four orders were wrong. It also seemed a little like some serving staff were trying...

« Nice place to recover during a business trip. Rooms are nice and confortable. Good choice of beer and food in the pub below. Very good breakfast! »

« The property is well located with multi storey car park nearby and the river views very welcoming. Check in late at night was a bit hap hazard, mainly due to process changes but when we really wanted to get to bed it was a bit delayed. The bed was comfy, shower very good and over all very comfortable. »

« Disappointing. On arrival to the room, there was a distinct musty smell. Not pleasant and still present after opening the windows. No WiFi in the room. Breakfast was almost non existent. For a pub/hotel that promotes its food service and quality, a couple of boxes of cereal and a few miniature pastries was not what was expected or advised. « The place is efficient and quiet. Easily seen and recognizable. We did get a refund immediately, but was double charged when checking in even though I pre-cooked months before on Expedia. »
