The Great Plains House is a comfortable, single-level home in a quiet northeast Colorado Springs neighborhood, set up for longer stays — relocations, work assignments, and families in town for the Air Force Academy. The open, split floor plan gives everyone a mix of shared space and privacy, with three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a fully remodeled kitchen that`s ready for cooking at home.
The living area has comfortable seating and a smart TV, and it opens to the dining space and kitchen, so it`s easy to settle in for a while. The primary suite has its own bathroom and a height-adjustable sit-stand desk — a real workspace, not a kitchen-table compromise. Two more bedrooms work well for family, guests, or colleagues. Out back, a fenced yard has a private hot tub, a patio dining area, and room to relax, and the front porch is a calm place for morning coffee. Central air and heat keep things comfortable year-round, with high-speed Wi-Fi throughout and a full-size washer and dryer.
You`re close to what brings most guests to town. The U.S. Air Force Academy is a short drive, and Peterson Space Force Base, the Colorado Springs Airport, and everyday shops and restaurants are all nearby. On weekends, Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, and local trails are within easy reach. Powers Boulevard and Woodmen Road make it simple to get around the city, and the airport is about twenty minutes away.
Getting in is simple and contactless. After a quick identity check through our verification partner, Truvi (about two minutes), your door code, directions, Wi-Fi, and exact address appear in your guest portal once your reservation is paid in full, ready for your arrival. That same quick step also activates damage protection of up to $50,000, so an accidental spill or bump during your stay is covered — peace of mind for everyone. The garage opens with a manual button on the wall by the interior door, or you can control it from your phone with the MyQ app — just message us the email you`d like us to add. Check in any time after 4:00 PM, and check out by 10:00 AM.
A few things to know: parking is in the driveway or garage only — no street parking, and no trailers parked outside the garage. The home is pet-free, and quiet hours run from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Trash - The bin is kept on the side of the house. You will need to take this bin to the street every week before 7 AM on Thursdays and put it back along the side of the house or else HOA violations will be assessed and passed on to the guest. Tip, place it out the night before if you don’t want to get up that early.
Parking - Parking is only allowed in the driveway or garage for overnight parking. No overnight parking on the street.
No pets allowed. No exceptions.
While we encourage you to spend time with friends and family at the house, there are no house parties allowed. Maximum occupancy during non-quiet hours is twelve (12) persons.
Overnight guest occupancy is restricted to a maximum of six (6) persons.
Quiet hours are from 10 PM until 7 AM.
Check out is by 10 AM on your day of departure.
