„The Penthouse suite was beautiful and very well appointed. Linens were not of the quality expected of this kind of suite. Clean but very well used and showing wear and tear. The continental breakfast was not as described and was very underwhelming. The fridge was not stocked as described. It appeared that there was little maintenance done during our stay.“

„when we booked this reservation in May, 2026, we received a email where the pin code and wi-fi password were stated, this was almost 5 months ago, we assumed and were told that we would get a email 3 days prior to our stay, we did get this email but no code was provided, we were unable to access our accommodation for 30 minutes and then we received conflicting explanations as to who had the responsibility to do this, I did not recall the May 3rd email and I could not access it through my phone ...

„Excellent location close to town. Also very roomy, Property could use a coat of paint and more serious cleaning. Dust was all over the headboard, spider webs were behind the headboard. TV was tedious to obtain and nothing to watch unless you had your own accounts that you could access. The remote for the window blinds were so small, they were almost unreadable and difficult to adjust. There were no remotes or controls for the "adjustable" bed, that we could find. There were also two curious ...

„Conveniently located for the reasons I was in Halifax. Room was extremely clean and well-maintained as was the Bathroom. Quiet; Children living on floor above but their noise was minimal and normal for kids. All was quiet after their bedtime!! Walkway to the private entrance at the back of the house was grass and ground uneven. The weather was sunny & warm during my stay, so was not a problem. Had it been rainy or winter conditions, it would have been slippery.“

„We had a great 2 night stay in late March. The place is close to the Acadia campus to visit our daughter and close to the downtown core for easy strolls. We enjoyed the large hot tub and never lacked for hot water. We had some cold mornings and the small electric fireplace quickly took out the chill. Highly recommend!“

„The country suite of the Gingerbread House is the perfect place to relax and unwind. A nice walk into town for good food (definitely try Paddy's pub) and a patio. Loved the hot tub after a day of hiking the amazing trails the Bay of Fundy has to offer. Wish we had time to take advantage of the fireplace area. The only issue which could be easily remedied are the pillows which were as thin as could be. I'd definitely bring my own. Other than that a great place!!“
