« The staff was literally outstanding!! The tent was gorgeous. Our major complaint was the food choice was very limited and not always geared to an 'American' consumer. We had a couple great meals and the rest were hard to enjoy since we don't eat seafood. »

« Elephant Bedroom is a luxury tented camp that provides great individual service for its guests. We had a wonderful guide on our game drives who was sensitive to our wishes as photographers. The only drawback is that electricity is only available in the camp at certain times of the day which means that battery charging has to be carefully planned and it is important to bring spares if you are a heavy user. »

« Nice hotel. We only stayed one night so I can't judge local game and wildlife activities. Our room was really good and we had a very nice meal by an open fire in the restaurant. Very cosy. Staff were very good, friendly and helpful. Nice gardens. One thing to note is that the power is provided by a generator so it's not always on. Probably not a problem if you're out all day. « Recently stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon trip to Kenya. After a week on safari the amenities were much appreciated, and from our experience, this hotel is one of the most luxurious in the country. WiFi in common areas was fine, room views of watering hole were amazing. Staff was extremely friendly. Lots of animals everyday at the watering hole, there are many openings to the outdoors so plan on bringing warm clothes even when hanging out inside. The beds could afford to be a bit more...
