« Les 4 étoiles sont un peu surfaites, mais c'est un hôtel à conseiller sans hésiter si vous profitez de promotions du week end... Très joli bar ! A dix minutes à pieds de la gare, du centre ville ou de l'université de Chelmsford. Un établissement avec un déco classique. Grand Parking. Repas sur place possible. Le personnel est accueillant. »

« Excellent well kept property, the only issue is there is no parking with the property and local Chelmsford parking is restrictive only till 5am and the local carparks are exceptionally expensive. »

« Lovely hotel, staff very friendly and welcoming, food was very good and we had free access to health club with indoor and outdoor pools etc. Room was huge and bathroom had seperate shower and bath. Would definitely recommend it »

« Everything was lovely and the front staff so very helpful. The only thing I would say about was the sound on the TV it was very muffled all the time no matter what we put it up to. « The bathroom was dirty, clearly had not been cleaned properly in some time, there was hair all over the floor, dirt build up around the shower tray and shower itself. Windows were also very dirty. The breakfast bag is not worth it as it’s not ready to go you have to wait 10mins for the hot part! »

« Do not book here. I booked 10 months in advance and when we arrived they couldn’t find my booking. Given a room on 2nd floor, in direct sunlight so it was like a sauna, but they did give us a fan. Arrived back at midnight to find gates closed and locked. Had to call someone to unlock the gate and let us in. Next morning tried to use the shower and wouldn’t work, then tried the was basin and no water. When I mentioned the shower at checkout, they knew about it and said we should have been...

« A notre grande surprise, la chambre ne possède ni salle de bain ni wc privatifs ce qui n'est précisé nulle part dans l'offre de réservation. il y a une salle de bain "familiale" (avec produits de douche entamés) sur le palier. l'entrée de l'hôtel se fait par un pub et si celui-ci est fermé, l'accès et la sortie de l'hôtel se fait par la porte de secours!!! la chambre est plutôt vieillotte avec une moquette abîmée. Le soir (et ce tous les soirs de la semaine a priori), un groupe de rock se prduit...

« Only challenge was lack of hanging space in the single bedroom. The tv in the double bedroom takes up a lot of floor space unnecessarily »

« I wish I’d just paid more to go to a chain hotel. This was terrible, the shower took 10 minutes to warm up by this point the bathroom was already flooded and the water was leaking into the bedroom floor. One of the great benefits was ‘FREE PARKING’ listed on their advert but I was in fact charged for parking for the few hours I was there overnight!!! Conveniently close to the airport but that’s about all that was good about this place. »

« Clean room though may be small in size with the unnecessary extra bed occupying the space. The staff was helpful but was surprised to see that not all the rooms had IRONs which is standard in US. »
