Beautiful house! Great location!

My family and I stayed at this property for the weekend, and we loved it! Very clean and comfortable, with lovely kitchen. Sitting areas outside were perfect for after-dinner family time. We will definitely be returning!

Lucky Dog Property

Wonderful amenities, extremely well supplied kitchen, great water pressure in the shower, huge sofa. The property smelled new and fresh, it was very quiet, the hose and outdoor shower were a nice touch, and communication with the property manager couldn't have been easier. Would stay there again!

Beautiful Beach Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was beautiful and super clean. The location was perfect, minutes away from the beach (we drove around in a golf cart). The parking fit two cars and the golf cart on the side. The kitchen was fully equipped. My only complaint was for the room with the bunk beds and laundry mashine in the same room, created a very musky smell and my kids had a hard time breathing fresh air in this room. The washing machine had a leak or something was wrong, because water was on the ground, and my kids complained daily. They said that the room also stayed pretty warm even with the AC I ended up getting them a little fan to use at night. Also, the little bottles they give you for body wash or shampoo are very tiny, so if you plan on staying for a week or longer, make sure to bring your own.

Great stay, small tweaks needed

We enjoyed our stay at the Lucky Dog Cottage. It was plenty of room for our family to relax and the convenience to the pool was nice. For the price, this was a great place to stay. It was hard finding the property with just the address. It took us to the wrong side of the cluster of houses, and there was no extra instructions to get there. We had to just wonder until we found it. Clarification ahead of time would have helped. The front door was very hard to open and close, and the ice machine is full of slime. We used it for our ice chests, but it was too dirty to drink from. If those issues were corrected, we would definitely stay here again.

Reviewer Comments: We had some problems with the appliances the first half of our stay which was over a weekend. The maintenance man was so nice and because our stove and oven were not working he brought us some more propane for the grill. While everything was fixed it did take several days. After our stay I reached out to Port Aransas Escapes and they were so helpful! The house is very well set up and the beds are comfortable, I would bring your own pillows though. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need during your stay. The location is great close to the IGA and the beach is just a couple of streets away.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was in a great location, very close to the beach and shops. The decor was exactly as shown in the pictures online. The beds were very comfy as well as the pillows! The kitchen was fully stocked with every cooking appliance you could possibly need. Just a heads up, there were no paper plates or condiments of any kind. Many places we have stayed at have things people have left behind, such as salt, pepper, paper plates and things of that nature. Not a major deterrent, but something to be aware of. Our only two issues were the fruit flies and the condition of the pool. The filter never seemed to run and every day my husband would be out trying to skim the debris from the pool. The management team did leave us two fruit fly traps, but they could not keep up with the amount we had. Overall, it was a great place for our family to get away and decompress. We would definitely consider staying here in the future.

This unit has a wraparound porch area next to a dirt road for easier vehicle access than most. The only problem we had was the freezer went out, fortunately the refrigerator continued to work. The maintenace people were awesome and supplied us with a huge ice chest filled with ice throughout our stay!! Hope they get the freezer repaired soon. We had a great time!
