One of the best

It was a very comfortable stay, really close to the beach. We loved not having neighbors upstairs or downstairs. AC worked very well, fairly clean. They have a hose outside to hose down sand, which was really convenient. Probably one of the best locations we’ve stayed at.

Great Stay

Overall a great stay. Condo was clean, check in was easy. Highlight of the trip was the fishing pier and seeing the dolphins. Condo could use a little updating, but the pictures and description are accurate. Towel rods in bathroom were close to falling off the wall, hand soap in kitchen would have been nice. For the value it was great. We will definitely be back.

Great location

The condo was spotless, easy to access, great location, the ship channel is just out the back door! We had an issue on the first day with an AC in one of the bedrooms but maintenence was there in less than an hour to handle it! Fantastic customer service! Will most definitely be back in the future.

Exactly what I wanted!

Nicely appointed and great private area. Great sitting on the patio and watching porpoises and big ships go by. Just know that it is a second story walk up so not for mobility impaired. Two covered car spots under the condo with your own water hose. Really nice touch! Bedrooms are accessed by a tight spiral stair. Has a good pool and really nice private fishing pier with boat slips - awesome! Would defiantly recommend.

Was lovely to watch the boats and barges from the porches, especially because we often saw dolphins playing in the waves. Good communication from the rental company. Wish there had been kid-friendly dishes (only glass/ceramic), but not a big deal. Be prepared for a spiral staircase. The condo is on our list to hopefully return for a future trip!

If you’re looking for spacious room, this may not be the place for you. But, if your looking for cozy, quiet, scenic, with a will maintained property and nice full size relaxing pool, this should be for you. It’s tucked away from all the traffic but you can easily walk to near by restaurants, club, or fishing jetty’s. Or rent a golf cart and take a ride. We have always enjoyed the water view condos. Watch the boats, dolphins , sunrise or sunset enjoying coffee or a cold bev. Sitting out on the deck. Always Happy to go and hate to leave.

Great location , responsive hosts

Overall we enjoyed our stay here. The location was fantastic and my kids all loved watching the ships go through the channel. We also enjoyed the fishing pier, although primarily we caught mostly "bait fish", we caught them every cast, which is fun when fishing with young kids. The kitchen was well appointed. The only negative was that we had a couple maintenance requests during our stay. They were promptly addressed, but it meant folks were in and out of the place multiple times. The stairs were also a negative, although we knew that going in. If you have a toddler I recommend bringing something to block the spiral staircase. All of the dishware is breakable as well, so bring non breakable dishware if travelling with young kids. All together this was a solid property.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I orginally wanted to rent at Channelview condos because of the fishing pier but then was told they do not have balconies, but Bay Tree has both a pier and balconies. Bay Tree dock is not a pier even though it has lights. I was very disappointed and checked out after the first night. My firend that was coming down and was going to split costs said NOPE as soon as I told him about the "pier" and I now had to pay for both nights on my own although I left immediately after the first night.

Don’t waste your money

Extremely dirty. Roach in fridge. Dirty showers. Dog hair all over beds. Definitely check your room before bringing your belongings up the flights of stairs. Property host is rude and tried to deny a refund when notified. And stated the rooms tend to be dirty because they are located by the beach… not sure what that’s supposed to mean. The room was offered to be cleaned, but if my check in status was their definition of clean what was the point . I couldn’t stay, it was that dirty. I understand things happen and I can overlook 1 or 2 stray hairs…But this…. You are better off staying at a motel. Argued with host on rooms status and refund while on the phone with vrbo. I ended up just leaving since the host was in denial even when shown pics of how dirty the room was and we were just arguing in circles. Then they called and offered a refund. Once the refund posted, they charged the refund with cleaning fees… what a joke…. My first worst experience with a rental property.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, very pleased with our stay! The location was excellent- the view from the decks was so much fun. I LOVED watching all of the huge boats come into the Port and the Dolphins morning and evening. The private fishing dock was perfect- loved fishing from there and didnt need a license since it was oprivate property. The pool was clean and well-kept. The office employees were welcoming and helpful. The check in process was flawless, and the written communication in the condo was perfect. My only suggestions are regarding the condo itself. Heres what was good: Washer/Dryer worked great. AC unit and fans all worked great. Furniture better than average. However, with a little work, it could really be excellent. There are alot of water stains on the ceilings that could use fixing. Theyre really unpleasant to look at. Things like the washer/dryer door (it fell off a couple of times) and curtain rods that are ziptied up could really be replaced. Would be nice to have seen a deeper clean- it was clean enough overall but clearly doesnt get a deep clean. The decks need looked at- at surface level they are fine. But you can see the nails pulling out which, with enough weight on them, eventually it could give and could be a serious safety hazard. The deck was not shaky and I felt safe on it by myself- but just looking at the future, it really should be fixed and reinforced. Overall happy- but with a little investment of time and money, it could be really fabulous.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Baytree unit 7 &8 the air conditioner in the master bedroom was not working!!!
