Cute and Spacious, but Roaches, Layout Issues, and Some Noise

The property is decorated very cute and has a cozy feel. Room sizes are generous, and there were plenty of comfy beds for everyone in our group. One of the bedrooms sleeps 4 and is a great size, but it doesn’t have a door—so while roomy, it lacks privacy. There’s also no formal dining area—just bar top seating for 4 and a few food trays in the living room.The unit’s proximity to the pool is definitely a plus, especially for families with kids. Just note that the pool stays open until 10 PM, so it can be noisy in the evenings.The biggest issue during our stay was cleanliness—we saw 6–7 roaches in the kitchen over the course of 3 nights, including one inside the Keurig water reservoir. We contacted property management and did get a response, but there was no indication that pest control ever came.The unit sleeps 14 but only has two assigned parking spots. Guest parking is available and worked for us, but larger groups should plan ahead. The location is okay, but golf carts aren’t allowed because they can’t cross the nearby highway. That’s not the property’s fault, but it’s something to consider if your group enjoys using a golf cart on the island like ours does.

This property is just as stated. It had all the amenities listed and then some. Property manager replied to my messages almost instantly and were always eager to help. The home is beautiful I will definitely stay again.

Home was large nice that it’s off the pool. Parking was a problem with only 2 spots available and very limited guest parking at first come first serve. At an occupancy of 12 we had 4 vehicles. All in all good stay

Great for families

We stayed here for a few nights as we went to the beach for the first time with our families. 2 families of 5 stayed here with children ranging in age from almost 2 to almost 9. The location was great for the beach and the pools. The places around for food were plentiful and we had a great time. The property management company was great at sending messages in a timely fashion and kept us up to date on the situation with the hurricane before we got there. We would definitely stay there again!

Enjoyable pool

4 families had a great time enjoying the pool after the beach. Golf cart rental was available onsite through owners which was awesome. Listing should say 3.5 baths, not 4. Not a ton of space on patios to hang out but being near the pool helped for sure. Beds were comfy, kids loved having their own area. Garage space for bikes, etc. was nice. Parking was a little tricky for 4 vehicles on a weekend. Only 2 spots are reserved for the unit so we had to find guest spots, which worked out as long as we didn’t move those vehicles. Everything was very clean.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We visit Port A once a year but it was our first stay in Pirates Bay. Treasure Island was perfect for our family of 9! Everyone had plenty of space, plenty of bathrooms and more than enough beds. My favorite part of the house was how well stocked the kitchen was, everything from measuring spoons to a cheese grater! The only thing you might need are your own spices to cook with. It was nice having a fridge with a full ice maker and it had no problem keeping up with everyone’s drinks. Our kids especially loved the location of the house to the pool. We were right by the pool! You can just walk out the front door barefoot and skip on over a few feet to the pool gate! Or it’s close enough to sit in one of the porch gliders and supervise the kids from the porch. The pool is large enough that even when crowded you can still enjoy it. There are also plenty of bath towels and a full size washer and dryer to keep them clean, just bring your own beach/pool towels. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable and we will definitely stay here again!
