The rental was exceptionally well stocked with anything we needed, towels, blankets, pillows, etc. Additionally, there were all kinds of items to make you feel at home, magazines, items for children. The beds were comfortable, the bath water pressure was very good and there was plenty of hot water. The air conditioning worked very well. We don't cook on vacation, but the kitchen looked well stocked. The only issue we encountered was the bottom unit was cut off from the upper, might be a plus for another rental. The area was quiet and I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a place in Port Aransas area.

I am wondering if you need a new heating element in the dryer as it seemed to take a long time to dry towels. Otherwise, I was fantastic. My husband and I stayed in the little apartment which worked well for him when he was not feeling well. The family loved it and we hope to do it again and will be looking at this property when we have a date for our next stay.

Great Family Time at Beach

Property was great for family get together with common area but also enough space to get away for nap without having others disturbing you. Property was clean, well maintained and had provisions that lasted most of trip. Easy walk to beach or community pool. Communication with property manager was excellent

Spring Break

We had a group of 9 (2 families, 5 kids ages 12-17). We were a little concerned about spending spring break in Port A because we heard it was a big party scene with lots of drinking on the beach, like South Padre, but we decided to risk it. We had a great time! The house was perfect for our two families. We didn’t need to use our vehicles during our stay. The beach is an easy walk along a boardwalk and was not overly crowded in the area. We had plenty of space and it was very family friendly. Some of our group walked a couple miles south on the beach and did encounter the crazy spring break crowd, but it was so far removed from us that we were not bothered by it. The house is fantastic and well-stocked and in a perfect location for the beach. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect Location!

Location, location, location. Located steps from the boardwalk, this gem was the perfect location for our family. We didn't have to use our vehicles all weekend long. There is plenty of space for a big party and it was equipped with everything you would need for a beach stay. I personally loved that the kitchen had everything I need to play chef for the week. I highly recommend this rental.

Comfortable and Elegant Family Home

We stayed over the Thanksgiving break, and this home was perfect for my family + my brother + my parents. The grandparents appreciated having their own apartment downstairs with a full kitchen. We loved walking to the pool and hot tub and the beach every day. I like that there is no street parking in the neighborhood, but the 4 spots in the driveway allow each car in and out access at any time. The owners were responsive when we needed them. We would love to return.

Great place for our annual family beach trip!

Beautiful, well equipped home with the privacy and access to the beach, restaurants and shopping that we were looking for. I packed things anticipating what we would need based on other stays. This house has everything! Bonus was sitting out on the upper deck in the evenings admiring the views and listening to live music!

Wonderful Home Away from Home

Great home, near the beach and access to everything Port Aransas has to offer. We did as much as we wanted to do and at times nothing at all. First time in PA and not the last. Thankful for the wonderful experience.

Location and owner response were excellent

We love the Sand Point neighborhood which is a few yards from the beach. The owner was very responsive when we had an issue with the ice maker and lock battery. The whole family was happy with the excellent king beds and bunk beds. My only suggestion would be to change out the outside wooden chairs because the nails were beginning to rust from the sea air. The neighborhood pool was just down the street.

Family Beach Vacation

We rented both up and downstairs for our family of 10. We enjoy cooking, and the kitchen was well equipped. A/C worked great, location near the beach awesome for impromptu walks and quick trips back and forth with kids. A beachy vibe and very clean. One caveat- no pantry available so we had to be creative with groceries, but counter space was good. We’ll have sweet memories of our 3 generations’ stay at Sand Point Joint.

Family Fun

It was our first vacation with our granddaughter and our first time in Port Aransas. The weather wasn't great, but we still went to the beach and played in the sand and surf. The beach was an easy walk and when we didn't want to carry all the stuff with us, you could drive and part right at the ocean. The local restaurants were wonderful and shopping, drug stores, etc ... everything is close by. The owner, Tami was available for question both before and during our stay. The beds were comfortable and the place was spotless when we arrived. I definitely recommend this property!
