The community pool was nice with plenty of overflow parking. The house could use some attention. We saw dead and live roaches. The refrigerator made some annoying chime noises all throughout the night. There was no gas for the stove, which makes it really hard to cook! The TV didn’t work downstairs, which is really aggregating for college football fans. There were fans in each bedroom which was great for airflow, but none downstairs where the ping pong table and connect 4 games are. We bought box fans which helped. Lots of bird poop on upstairs porch. The location is great and the beds were good along with size of bathrooms. The living room and living room TV was also good.

Fun Beach Trip

Family of 6 adults and 3 children. Plenty of space, a great play area below, kitchen stocked with lots of dishes! We rented a golf cart and got to the beach easily! Also, used the golf cart to go souvenir shopping—- all in close proximity! Clean, fun, relaxing!

16th Birthday Trip

They need to update there pictures on VRBO and there listing. The house was in good location. But the listing in my opinion was very misleading. The pool they talk about holds 20 people maybe and was always filled. The house also had small bugs, and somenbig 9nes in the garage. I had message the host several times before our trip to ask questions the house, and they never answered the questions. In my opinion i paid to much for this house.

Birthday weekend

It was just okay. Im not sure that any of the sheets had been cleaned before arrival. When my son pulled back the covers on the bottom bunk there was a open can of chewing tobacco. The game room was ultimately the reason we chose the property, it was a bit of a mess. Sandy beach toys kites ect. Laying around and we couldn't get the television to work.

Disappointing

Disappointing – Our stay at this property was acceptable for location and basic living but disappointing for cleanliness and fell short of expectations. Numerous issues make it difficult to recommend, especially given the misleading details in the listing. Cleanliness: Upon arrival, the house was not clean, with visible dust, grime, and a general lack of upkeep. To make matters worse, the twin bunk beds did not have proper bedding, and we had to make the beds ourselves.The furniture has numerous stains and does not resemble what is shown in the photos listed. Specifically, the blue chair in the living room and the chairs at the dining table are filthy.The master bedroom shower had visible mold on the ceiling.The trash can was full upon arrival, and when we inquired about trash day, we were told that it would "be taken care of," yet it never was. Comfort: The beds were a significant problem:The queen bed in Bedroom 2 was an old spring mattress that was uncomfortable and noisy, and you could feel the springs through the fabric. The twin bunk beds were also uncomfortable, with the flat top sheets not on the beds. Overall, the sleeping arrangements were subpar and detracted from our ability to relax.Plumbing Issues: The guest toilet clogged and the sink and shower drained Very slowly leaving standing water Listing highlights elevator yet $75/day fee buried in fine print. Should have more transparency Photos do not reflect homes current state.Does not meet vaca rental standards

Underwhelming

Less than stellar stay at this property. The house had a lot of dead bugs throughout the inside, several roaches. It did not seem to have been cleaned prior to our stay or maybe it had been a while. We rented this house because it said it had an elevator for my 75+ year old mother on the verge of knee replacement. The elevator was locked off and had a sign that said "Private" so we were unable to use it and she had to take the stairs for four days. The kids enjoyed the games and the location was great but overall this is not somewhere we would return to based on the cleanliness of the house and the accuracy of the listing.

Games / Beach / Play time

Property has lots of games to entertain even the young at heart of all ages. Don't buy beach boards as there is a wide assortment to use at this property. Beach access via vehicle is 2 minutes away approximately 1 1/2 blocks away but would take 10 minutes calmly walking to the beach. Whataburger is 5 minutes driving distance. You will need a beach pass for vehicle at beach which you can buy at gas station $12 for the year but if you don't police patrol up and down and ticket is $500. you are close to the main entrance of the main beach so location is great. enjoyed the stay, 3 bedrooms total with couch makes into bed. Downstairs has a bathroom where games are but no A/C, they do have a large fan but kind of loud. also elevator on property makes it ideal for anyone with a handicap, we used it and very safe.

Tropical Splash

Everything was clean and in order. Very nicely stocked kitchen. It rained the majority of our time there , but lots to do downstairs in the game room and plenty of tv time. Great communication with the host. I highly recommend it.

Tropical Splash

We enjoyed the convenience of the elevator‼️Lots of fun stuff for everyone to enjoy in the garage. Lots of things to take to the beach if you didn’t bring your own buggy boards, toys etc. Nice having downstairs bathroom. Think a shower outside or the one in downstairs would really help cut down on sand ending up upstairs. Well stocked kitchen. Only problems were master shower needs a good scrubbing and dryer didn’t work. Didn’t want to stay home to wait for repair man, so hope they get it fixed for next group.

The "fun house"

The "fun house" lived up to it's name! Kids and adults had a blast. The proximity to the pool was handy, as well as the access to the heated pool! Beds were comfy, the kitchen was stocked, and everything was close by. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Spring break review

The property was as listed. Great board games for cool evenings. Definitely recommend getting a golf cart through Peyton as it made getting to local shops, restaurants and the beach a breeze.

Perfect for our Retreat

I recently hosted a team retreat for my employees and their families in Port A and was in need of a place that was wheelchair accessible. This home was perfect! There is an elevator that provided access for my employee's daughter plus room to get around inside. The downstairs "recreation" area had a number of activities for the kiddos, plus a firepit and chairs for the grownups. The community pool is right next door. Too cold this trip, but perfect for summer! We highly recommend it!

Loved this property! Very clean, comfortable and easy access to beach, shops, restaurants. A golf cart is nice to rent for getting to the beach. It was nice to have the ice maker in the garage for the coolers. Had all toys for the beach and fun things to do at this house. House had all cooking items needed. Management company was easy to work with. They did not provide beach towels so bring your own. Great location, would stay here again! Thank you!
