Great large rental perfect for multiple families

The size of the property was perfect for our family of 20–Christmas in July for us! Very spacious & great for the grandchildren to have their own areas. Pool was a welcome addition after being at the beach. We had a fantastic time except for the elevator situation. I would get rid of that because it’s a hazard.

Wonderful House!

We had a great time at this house! It is very spacious and clean! The pool is smaller than it appears in pictures but the kids all still managed to have a great time playing in it. The house has amazing views and outdoor spaces and lots of gathering and living spaces for everyone. We were located very conveniently to one of the pools as well as the bridge to the beach. Would highly recommend!

Nice house- some issues

It was a super nice house, but we did have several issues with things not working properly. The subdivision is really nice and you can drive the golf cart on the beach all the way into Port A. Vacasa was great and helped where they could.

Fabulous for a Senior Staff Retreat!

We spent two days at Big Blue for a staff planning retreat. It was perfect for our needs! With only 8 of us, we had more than enough room and plenty of space to spread out and do our work. During breaks some from our team took to the beach, others recharged in the fabulous library, and a couple even enjoyed an afternoon nap! For our team, it was a great getaway that supported both our planning and our team building! We hope to do this again for our next team planning activity. Thanks to our marvelous hosts for letting us stay at this absolutely stunning property!

Family Reunion

We had a blast at the Big Blue! We were so very comfortable with 18 people staying - ages 8 months to 74 years old. The views were amazing and loved the pond right outside the house! The ocean views were fantastic also! And the beds sooo comfortable! We cooked Thanksgiving dinner for 20 people very easily - the kitchen is well stocked! And we loved the golf cart! And playing golf and hanging out at Reds in the evenings around the fire pit! A very memorable family reunion! Thank you!

Big Blue was laid out perfectly for our large family’s needs, such as two bunk rooms and two ensuites. There was plenty of seating for everyone to be seated at dinner and the kitchen had all the items we needed to cook for a large family. We had a slight malfunction with the elevator right after we arrived, but after a phone call was made the maintenance man was there to fix it immediately even though it was Sunday afternoon. Our only complaint was that the pool was a plunge pool and not a real pool which is not really clarified in the description or photos. That being said we had a great time.

House is Great.

The house is beautiful and the owners left a warming gift bag that was nice. Unfortunately the elevator was decommissioned and not available for use the last two days and I had 5 people over the age of 73 that could not come down stairs until it was time to leave. Unpacking the house without an elevator was not easy and I did it with the help of my wife and I cutting my leg. On another note when I responded 4 of 5 rating in the beginning of the stay was because the trash had not been thrown from the two main trash cans and their was no room for ours. Other than that the house itself was great, and I would come back resolving those issues.

Big Blue Paradise

This home is as luxurious as it looks in the pictures. The kitchen truly is fully stocked with everything you need for cooking, and the house’s layout is perfect for large families. We felt comfortable from the beginning. The pool was great for the kids after a day at the beach, and the great room and kitchen area provided plenty of space for all of us (20) to gather for meals, games, and conversation. Fantastic!

GREAT PLACE.

Great home to rent with kids and adults. Great views of the ocean from all floors of the house. Pool on site, but a resort pool 100 yards away. Walking distance to the beach or 5minute golf cart ride. Very quiet on the weekdays and then picks up on Friday.

This was the best beach house we ever rented. It is beautiful and very well maintained. The kitchen had every item one could need. The owners provided kitchen and bathroom supplies to start the week so it was not necessary to go to the store on arrival. The house has a lovely view of a pond with birds, golf course, and the gulf from the main floor (3 floor). The community pool was heated and 1/2 block away. The beach access was close and a golf cart provided. It was a fabulous week!!!

Perfect Stay!

This home was absolutely beautiful, and we had a perfect stay! The entire rental process, including check-in & check-out, was painless and simple. The home had everything you would need-complete with beach towels, beach chairs, sand toys, etc. Would definitely rent again and highly recommend!

Amazing House!!

This house is perfect for large family vacation of a company retreat. You get exactly what is advertised and more. Use of golf cart made going to the beach pleasurable, the amenities within the community were amazing. Pool cabana rentals, beach chair and umbrella rentals. We loved it so much, can’t wait to go back!!!

Great House except for the Fish Smell

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a long delayed family reunion due to COVID 19 this Labor Day. Beautiful home, great house with unobstructed views of the Gulf. Upon arrival main floor refrigerator smelled of fish. When you opened frig the smell permeated the whole house. Called housekeeping - comment was we thought fish smell would have been gone by now, indicating that they knew of it and hadn't come back to alleviate the smell. Had to unload the interior of the refrigerator while housekeeping wiped down with bleach/water/soap. Smell of bleach masked fish smell for awhile but smell came back and stayed for 5 of the 7 days of rental. Ice from ice-maker, uncovered food and anything else in the fridge smelled of fish. Ice was unusable and got by on bags of ice out of ice chest for the entire stay. Asked housekeeping to come back out and never got a person to respond except through text. Barbecue grill was filthy and had to be thoroughly cleaned before we could use. Dead bugs were prevalent in master and main floor - exterminators must have just sprayed. No live bugs - just dead ones that had not been swept up. House is an incredible vacation home but Turnkey Mgmt is very difficult to deal with. Tried on several occasions to speak with supervisors to address the situation - none would answer or return calls. Under different management and housekeeping we would return - house is that nice but cleaning, maintenance of the property of this caliber is not in their wheelhouse.

Everyone in our group was thrilled with this property! Main pool is across the street, chairs, umbrella and golf cart were very handy. Everyone wants the library in their house!!
