« The decor is mid 80's. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. The outdoor furniture could have been more comfortable- we did not sit out on the deck for this reason. Breakfast options were sugary, but we enjoyed coming home to cookies in the lobby. Pleasant ride to Narragansett. »

« Check-in is done by calling a phone number. No office on premises. Very clean, twin bed room. Nicely updated decor. Only stayed one night while attending a music event nearby. Large modern bathroom with sliding barn door entry. Beds were too firm for my back (innerspring mattress not foam) Also could use a better blanket- too small and lightweight. « We have been going to Shelter Harbor Inn for decades. After its most recent renovations, the Inn is absolutely beautiful. The design of the inn is lovely. The grounds are stunning. And very importantly, the staff is excellent. There was some confusion re our check in and both the young woman who checked us in (Laci V) and the young woman who checked us out (Laci M) handled the situation perfectly. Sadly, we were only there for one night most recently but we will return. »

« Honestly, you're better off camping. I think $40 per night would be fair for this motel. It's quiet and location is good, but run down and not well maintained. »
