„The property was spotless and cleaning staff really friendly, great location with views of the river and just by a slipway for crabbing. A short walk into the centre of Fowey for some lovely pubs, restaurants and shops. We had fun on the river and at nearby beaches. Everyone was very friendly. Great holiday!“

„Alt aber nicht im negativen Sinne! Alles Nötige ist vorhanden, voll funktionstüchtig und sauber. Es hätte im Ganzen nur etwas liebevoller ein- und hergerichtet werden können. Bei dem Inhalt der Küchenschränke ist noch Spielraum nach oben. Der einzige Nachteil liegt im Garten. Es sind 2 Ebenen auf engem steilen Raum. Die Gartenlaube oben könnte definitiv in besseren Zustand sein. Für wirklich 6 Personen ist der Garten nicht brauchbar.“

„The property is very homely and the best of locations. However the property needs a good clean both inside and out. The carpet in the dining room is dreadful, covered in nasty stains. The stair carpet is dirty too. Despite this we enjoyed our stay very much.“

„We enjoyed an amazing weekend at The Old School House, celebrating my mum’s 80th birthday. The property is perfect for a large group, with large communal spaces where everyone can come together, but also some cosy nooks where you can enjoy a moment of quiet. The fact that it’s located above the beautiful Fowey estuary, with fantastic views and the town and beach a short stroll away is just a bonus!“

„Property was exactly as described, but what made it extra special was the little touches provided by the owners. On arrival, a traditional cream tea and a bottle of Prosecco was waiting for us as well as tea, coffee and a little carton of milk so no need to dash to the shop. The first evening the owners lit tea lights in lanterns leading to the front door. All very sweet and thoughtful. Very peaceful location but very easy access to Mevagissey and Fowey. Would ‘t hesitate to recommend and ...

„This beautiful cottage is a short walk from mousehole. It had everything you could possibly think of and more. Very clean very comfortable loved staying there. Stayed when we had a week of rain would be lovely in nice weather to enjoy the bbq and lovely garden and Stunning views of the sea“
