The staff was friendly enough, which helped mitigate the utter disaster this hotel is in. Room not reserved (no king room available for me or the other irate lady in the same situation at check in), no toilet paper on arrival, room not ready, broken tiles, rust, black mildew, stained towels, fridge broken, drywall in abysmal condition, mattresses bent on edges from people using them as a couch. Slime and grime on end tables. Food left over from the previous guest. The bathroom door handle was floppy and wouldn't close. Outlets so loose that nothing stayed plugged in. Carpets were filthy. Tub creaked like it was going to give way. Tape left on walls. Cabinets pulling away from the walls and ceiling as if someone had sat on them. No handsoap in the entire hotel--told to use shower gel. These sad realities are all due to the hotel being used as long-term Section 8 housing or something similar, perhaps for the homeless. The clientele are not businessmen, but seemingly homeless. Everywhere reeked of marijuana. Don't trust these OLD pictures online. The place has been let go. We were very happy to leave when it was time. (We'd have left earlier if our rental had been longer.
