„Location for the home was a blessing and a chore. On the one hand there was wildlife (an elusive black bear!) and amazing trails. On the other it took 20 minutes on narrow, partially paved back roads to get there from the main road (19 into Fayetteville). From there you could get anywhere easily. House is very nice and spacious with a beautiful common area. Cleaners might want to inspect dishes better. It seems trusting to me to count on outgoing guests to clean dishes for the next group. The extra attention to detail in decorating and welcome s’more treat was wonderful! The only minor drawback was that we needed directions to get the tv to work. „We had the best time at this cabin! So close to the lake, yet a little slice of heaven. We enjoyed the grill and making s'more's around the fire pit. Watching the deer in the morning with my coffee was so peaceful. My only complaint was the linens. Towels seemed to be a worn out and I wish there was more. However they did the job so it wasn't a big deal. I would definitely stay at thia location again. The host was very communicative and helpful. “

„Cool old house. Everyone loved the decor, and the location near to Babcock State Park and New River Gorge was great. Kitchen is well laid out and functional, however not many smaller pots and pans so if you plan to do much cooking then recommend bringing some of your own. TVs and internet not great, however lots of books, games, and activities which for us was better anyway.
