« This is exactly what my family was looking for! We drove out for the wilds center and afterwards we came to stay for the night. Rob was at the property when I showed up working on cleaning out the dock area. He let me know that we could fish off the dock (see the photos of some of our catches in the 10mins we fished before leaving In the morning!). « This cabin, checked every box that was needed for a perfect peaceful, relaxing, unwinding, recharging weekend get away for my wife and I. A must hike owls head mountain. Absolutely amazing. So much to do both directions just down the road from this location. The cabin was extremely clean. Felt just like home. The hot tub was fabulous on a cold evening. Will definitely look into for future weekends. »

« Teresa was a great host and a very responsive communicator. She treated us with respect and was incredibly welcoming to me and my family. She made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Camp Hemlock was condusive for relaxing and enjoying the private and the quiet surroundings. Boyd pond is the perfect size for kayaking and fishing with the family. Overall this is the best location we have stayed in the ADK area. »

« The treehouse was very cozy and cooled down very well at night. They have great trails and kayaks to use which the dog loved. The hosts were communicative and gracious. They gave us some fresh strawberries from their garden as well. We hope to get back in the not too distant future. »

« Absolutely wonderful! The cabin is spacious yet cozy, clean and welcoming. We absolutely loved the screened porch and spent every evening chatting and playing games out there. We went kayaking on the lake, grilled out, played outdoor games, sat by the fire with complete privacy. This property is nestled in by the trees and the lake. Jane was an absolute fantastic host. From booking in February right through our trip, she was friendly, accommodating and answered any questions I had immediately....

« Our family spent a wonderful week at Rustic Lodge. The expansive waterfront deck was the place to be during the very hot week. Upon arrival we discovered plenty of storage and refrigerator space. The rooms were larger than they appeared in the property photos. We all loved the Adirondak feel of the Lodge and look forward to returning next summer. »

« We were so happy to have found this getaway for our family of 7. The kids said it was better than Disney World! There were accessible hikes, good restaurants, and comfortable accommodations. The hosts left a wealth of information about things to do in the area, my husband and boys enjoyed fishing from the boat out on the lake, and the nightly fires in the fireplace were lovely. We hope to return soon! »
