Overall decent place for our family ski trip. The pros outweigh the cons, but there were lots of little things that could really help make the place even better.
Pros: closeness to base area, bathrooms were very clean, full kitchen was great as we cook daily, bedroom setup was good for our family of 4, dog friendly, and having a washer/dryer was nice. Fireplace was great, too.
Cons: needed a lot of basic handiwork (cabinets had loose hinges, every dresser drawer needed lubed, every door and faucet handle squeaked which made it tough to be quiet at night); There was no grill as shown in the listing photos; Blackout shades in the rooms would be nice (headlights throughout the night and later sunset made it hard for kids to settle at night).
The biggest issue we had was that the mountain-side set of stairs as shown in the description were completely iced over and inaccessible. Whoever is in charge of that really dropped the ball. We booked this place anticipating an easy walk out of the unit and across the street to the base area. We ended up having to walk around the back lot and around a second building to access the street. A bit inconvenient for adults, but definitely frustrating when you have young kids who now have a longer walk in ski gear.
Overall, it worked out fine and it was nice to have the extra space to spread out for the week's stay.
