Hello — I’m escalating a complaint regarding a recent stay due to material misrepresentation, missing amenities, sanitation issues, and ongoing concern after departure.The listing advertised 3 queen beds; the property had 2 queens and 1 twin. The “fully equipped kitchen” was not functional — no colander, only 2 pots and 1 skillet, no hand mixer, insufficient plates and glasses. I spent vacation time shopping for basic items just to make the home usable. There were also insufficient towels and blankets, no paper towels, inadequate toilet paper, and poor trash disposal.We encountered three small brown cockroaches (not water bugs). This is a sanitation and habitability concern, and I am now worried that insects may have gotten into our personal belongings or luggage, creating a continuing issue beyond the stay.Because this was a Christmas holiday stay, relocation was not feasible. I mitigated the situation myself, but it took significant time and energy away from family vacation time. Overnight family members, including infants, could not stay as planned due to the misrepresented beds and conditions.I am requesting a refund and reimbursement for out-of-pocket purchases. I have receipts, photos, and listing screenshots and have attempted to resolve this directly with the host.Thank you for your assistance.
