Beautiful little cabin tucked into the trees overlooking a tiny pond and the bay - just perfect for 'porchin'. The hosts have thoughtfully and meticulously curated a hip and stylish experience that is bursting with character and attention to detail. The interior design is spectacular. We were mostly in and out of Fairhope for late-week event and really didn't even scratch the surface of what the property has to offer. Nonetheless, we were thrilled with our stay.

We loved our stay!! The house was very clean and I can’t say enough about that screened-in porch!!! It was the best!! The neighborhood is so peaceful! Dave was so kind and checked in to make sure we didn’t need a thing the whole time! We will definitely be back!

This cozy property was the perfect home away from home for a quick, two-day getaway with my husband. Our hosts were extremely hospitable and easy to work with. Dave showed up on day one to give us a quick and friendly tour, which helped take the guess work out of where to find light switches and modern conveniences. He had an amazing coffee maker and even had creamer waiting on us in the fridge! He pretty much had all you need for a short or long stay and the place was immaculate and clean! Definitely check out Dave’s restaurant recommendations - they didn’t disappoint! Our favorite restaurants were Southwood Kitchen, Pearl and Sunset Pointe. The back porch was our favorite part of the home. We pretty much spent all of our time there and the sunsets were incredible! We can’t forget a shout out to the good Lord for the spectacular show!

This place was perfect! The house was immaculate and everything we could possibly want. We had never stayed at a property like this before and I can say I'm spoiled being this close to the beach. Dave was absolutely the best to deal with, he came over when we arrived and gave us a short tour and checked in with us later to see if we needed any supplies. Check in and check out was a breeze. The sunsets were amazing and best viewed from the couch swing on the porch. Be sure to hang around after dark for the frog symphony. 10/10 recommend.

Loved it!

The screened in porch is absolutely amazing. We were on a girls trip and spent most of our time out there. Dave is a wonderful host, very accommodating. Close to the Grand where we had Sunday lunch and shopping in Gairhope.

The House was adorable, great, clean screened in porch ( upstairs only) wonderful.Problem- there is no bay beach front access from the bayside of this property or the house !!Instead right in front of the porch side of house facing what should be the view of the bay is a city drain off pond of shallow, Thank you ma’am stagnant water, totally overgrown full of debris overgrown and not maintained.Beside the property and fence you have to go through a gate on the side of the property to a path that has signage grass, ( and a variety of wildlife) that flows into the bay.We had no area to play or sit and enjoy the area from the yard. Only the upstairs porch.The Actual access to a very small section of sandy beach on the bay is actually a path you have to walk down beside the house and this stagnant water/pond which is an access pass for the public or neighborhood area, which others from the area also use. From the front porch facing the bay you actually cannot even see the bay in front of of you., maybe views to the sides.Objection to this is that the pictures shown on the website did not indicate or describe that thisPond area was so close to house and between the house and bay and unkept!Owner/host was very nice and while a refund was offered when we arrive -when you book a vacation and need to get away with your family,You have a car packed with food and kids - where are you suppose to go at 4:00 pm in the day?

Everything from the prompt responses from the owners to the promise of the frog symphony was on point! I arrived later than I expected and the lights had been turned on for me to create a peaceful scene after a long car ride. Beautiful property inside and out!Sitting on the back porch swing watching the sunset was breathtakingDaphne is a super cute city with plenty to do and close enough to the beaches that you can spend the day there and still come home to a welcoming spot of your own!If relaxation is your vibe, check out this property for your next stay.

Daphne on the Bay

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. We walked the bay beach and listened to frogs on the beautiful porch. I could have stayed forever. The owners were very attentive and accommodating. I would highly recommend and hope to get back one day!

Fabulous, convenient, and simply beautiful

Where do I start? The house was spotless, the bedding / linens were amazing (fabric, texture, quality - all of it), and the home is decorated beautifully. Dave and Jenn provide more than basic necessities, including coffee and creamer (and it’s actually good coffee - not a pod). Plenty of dishwasher pods and laundry pods to use, along with paper towels, trash bags, cleaning supplies, and toilet paper—way more than what is usually at a rental home. We had a child under 2 and will stay here again for every reason under the sun (they even have kid books for bedtime!). Even though the home is inviting and comfy - very coastal living magazine - we spent most of our time outside on the screened in patio on what we called "the swinging bed” overlooking the bay. There are stylish cushions on every chair outside that almost force you to take a nap. Steps from the bay with toys and chairs to use - perfect entertainment for a child and relaxation for parents. There’s a little room with a desk facing the bay if you need to get some work done like I did - of course, the WiFi was flawless like everything else. This office space also fits a pack n play and has an air vent so perfect for a little one. We had several delivery orders with no issues. Can’t say enough positive things about this property and the hosts. Just what we needed and thankful we found it. If you’re hesitant, book it! You won’t be disappointed.

This was the perfect home for making memories. The view was breathtaking, especially while fishing at sunset. The front porch alone deserves 5 stars. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. I can't recommend this home enough.

Fun with Friends!!!

Our stay at Frog Symphony was awesome! The home is beautiful and cozy. We loved the decor especially the porch swing/bed. And the frogs did sing to us! It had all the amenities to make our visit comfortable and enjoyable. Dave was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We would most definitely stay there again. Beautiful retreat in Daphne

We stayed here for two nights on our way to New Orleans. Jen and Dave were awesome hosts, greeting us when we arrived and sharing lots of recommendations for what to do in the area. It rained the weekend we were there but that didn’t stop us from enjoying Fairhope and Daphne. The house is clean and modern with comfortable beds and a huge screened-in porch (where we spent most of our time). Our girls loved the loft and the circular staircase. Had the weather been nicer, we would have taken advantage of the kayaks and beach gear. We were seven minutes from everything: restaurants, custard shops, bookstores, grocery stores, wine shops, and more. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay!

David was friendly and helpful; welcomed us personally, answered all texts and phone calls promptly, and made us feel welcomed and at home. The house is even better than advertised; decorated tastefully with a personal touch. Great pillows!!!! Thank you to David and Jen - I hope we return soon!

A quite little corner on the bay

We very much enjoyed our stay on the bay! The home and property had all of the right touches and we immediately felt at home. Thank you for the coffee and cream! It made those porch mornings overlooking the water even better. Our kids enjoyed fishing and beach combing. Do not miss those sunsets on the porch!
