« The front desk staff were very friendly and very accommodating, and the rooms were clean. The breakfast was really good and the grandkids loved the waterpark. »

« Greeted upon arrival and given tour and history of property. Short time later provided cheese tray and choice of wine on screened in porch with the other guests, followed by fresh baked cookies. Very enjoyable. Short walk to the downtown area for all the dining and shopping areas, great location. Room was very clean and in good condition. Slept very well on the bed. We will stay here again on another Galena visit. »

« As I had found that this property was once owned by my 3X great granduncles I was fascinated by the history and walked in their footsteps. As I descended the original, narrow stairs with the low hand rails I imagined the original women in their high button shoes and hoop skirts more gracefully than me maneuvering them daily. It was a pleasant step back in time with it's antique atmosphere and original structure. It was my 48th wedding anniversary and staying at a family home made it even more...

« Our stay at the steamboat house was SO much fun. The other people staying were lovely and the innkeeper and her daughter were so sweet! They were so accommodating, made amazing breakfast, and the space was just gorgeous. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again! »
