Not a well taken care of property, but not nearly as bad as the earlier review. I never felt unsafe here. The closest thing to "homeless knocking on the door" was the pizza guy slipping flyers in. Security patrol every night and I'd see them walk by while sitting on the balcony watching the ocean. The bed was missing the middle support. After 2 weeks, and my back getting to where I could barely walk to the elevator, I gave the room another thorough look and found a stool way back under the sink that had clearly been used as that middle support before. No clue why they hid it back there instead of putting it under the bed where it needed to be. My back issues disappeared and the bed became comfortable.Floor is peeling in many places. Stovetop was unusable due to how dirty/rusted the pans under the burners were, they would have set off the smoke alarm if I'd used them. Had to use the plunger on the bathtub upon arrival so that it would drain. It drained after that, but slowly.Dehumidifier was not connected to the outside well, so it leaked on the floor. Notified them about that day one, and they never remedied it.No contact from owner from time of booking until I messaged them the night before arrival asking about entry. That's unacceptable. I drove halfway across the US unsure if I actually had a room. Again no contact after that initial day when I alerted them to the dehumidifier and requested the Wifi password. Not nice, but it's livable and on the beach.
