« This was a great spot to come “home” to and relax after a day out adventuring in the black hills. It’s an easy drive to Mt Rushmore, Custer, and Crazy Horse, and plenty of easy access to restaurants and stores nearby. We enjoyed stretching our legs in the spacious back yard and playing games provided by our host. A wonderful stay! »

« Excellent VRBO experience. We have been working with VRBO for decades and this is one of our best experiences we have had. The homes was clean, welcoming and comfortable. We had no issues whatsoever and had no need to contact our most gracious host. All the information we needed was given to us. As for the South Dakota experience in this area we had one heck of a time. We were in awe of the beauty of this area. « This was a perfect place to stay to visit the parks and sites in S. Dakota. Near the house was a grocery in walking distance, and restaurants nearby. It worked perfectly for my friend and me. »

« Stayed here for a family Christmas party we had in Rapid. The house work perfect for us. Very nice clean roomy house. »

« The overall property is very nice and peaceful. We loved having a fully fenced area for the dogs. Definitely a unique and historic property. The only issue I had was the height of the composting toilet. For me, it was a big step up and down, and I felt unsteady using it in the middle of the night. It would be nice to have a grab bar or something to help stabilize older people (like me). »

« Perfect location! Close to everything! Everybody had a comfortable place to sleep. Easy check in and check out! The host responded to all our queations ans concerns promptly ! We highly recommend this place! Our fur baby also enjoyed the fenced yard! »
