A short 2 block walk to Millikin University with restaurants and nightclubs. Morning walkers can enjoy the local architecture of mansions and Frank Lloyd Wright homes within a 4 block loop. It is super cute place that is conveniently located in town. Mark left us breakfast items in the frig and that was really appreciated.

The property was really cute. The best were very comfortable and the location was so convenient. Really close to a lot of restaurants and COFFEE. No tvs in the bedrooms was a bummer. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

The cottage is wonderful. It is cozy, nicely decorated, and conveniently located. We walked to a downtown restaurant on our first evening and enjoyed a very nice meal. Our host, Mark, was fantastic. He provided proactive messages, great local information, was easy to reach, replied to communications quickly, and even stocked the kitchen with breakfast items. We could not ask for a better experience.

Mark was super accommodating and our stay was full of pleasant surprises surpassing what was mentioned in the listing. It was a quick (read: potentially stressful) trip for me and my 2 kiddos and I can honestly say that these little supports took a huge load off. We will definitely stay here again!

We didn't stay. Apparently the baseball team coach wanted this unit for the entire month so we were asked to move to a place that was not a VRBO listing. No photos and no reviews. We got there and not only was the place in disarray (broken concrete items in the front yard, broken concrete stairs, hose and trash cans next to the front steps) but the smell of mold was so strong as we entered the house, there was no way we could stay there.

This was a trip for work and I couldnt have asked for a better stay! Very clean home with a very attentive host. Check in and out was super easy and everything you need for a comfortable stay is right there.

Great host. Excellent communication. Clean house with a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. Nicely decorated, comfy bed, lots of space. The internet was good, and we appreciated being so close to the school. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The only downside was that we like to watch tv in bed before we go to sleep and neither bedroom had a tv in it. Good tv in the living room.

All the comforts of home!

We had a great experience with Mark and loved staying at the Haworth Cottage! It was the perfect location for catching up with our Millikin student and enjoying downtown Decatur. Communication and accessibility were excellent and our stay was much better than a hotel. We are eager to visit again!

Mark, the host, is great. The communication, the breakfast, the house. It’s perfect for our needs. This was our second time in as many years and will be booking for next year soon.
